- Summer days in my life!!! Finally got my nails redone (they were looking BAD LOL), went to an outdoor movie (so cute), did a grocery haul, organized and cleaned my office (this was soooo overdue), did some scrapbooking & sketching for a little self care :)

i would consider putting a bookshelf in your guest bedroom! it will bring character and warmth to the guest room and then you can go look at your books any time you want without them cluttering your day-to-day space

You’re so good at scrapbooking. Why not fill your frames in the office with your memories. You can still switch them up,when ever you want. ❤

I keep my books on a rolling cart.. like a librarian. That way when I’m using them I can have them out, but when I’m not reading them or need more space, I can push them in a closet or something so they’re away.
The exciting thing about finishing a scrap book is starting a new one, this next one can be all about thriving in your 30’s!! Loved the vlog! Love the girl talks ❤️
considering you work from home and are self motivated .... ik this can sometimes be hard to motivate and be productive but you are so inspiring u truly fill your day up with lots of fun things!!
Tara omg you should put the watercolour paintings in those frames in your office. It would add such a nice personal touch since it’s places you’ve been to and the fact that you’ve painted them!
The way I organize books that gives me so much joy is by color and in a rainbow pattern!

Exposure from the sun through your windows will eventually turn the pages yellow. It’s why I have my bookshelves on the same wall as my window 😅💖
What if you line up the books on your office console? With cute bookends? I love seeing the colourful spines because what’s the point of having them if you can only see the beige pages especially if you read them on the kindle. Obviously it’s your choice and no doubt you’ll make it gorgeous! I ended up giving 99% of my book collection away since I read on Kindle and the physical ones were just collecting dust. Hopefully someone will love them like I did! Collecting them was a hyperfixation at one point and I’ve moved on to a new one 😂
Did you know you can use your prismacolor color pencils as watercolor too. Color like the darkest part you want with the colored pencils (just a thick line would be enough) and then take your wet brush and you can use that line to drag the color over the rest of your project. It’s a fun because the pencils can be used for more than what you would think. You should try it out. 👍🏻

I used to scrapbook yearsss ago, even made my own books. You inspired me to do them again. I have sooo many photos in my box. It’s definitely time LOL 🤍

I know your scrapbooks will bring you joy when you reflect back on them and the wonderful memories you’ve made. But, I know that when you have children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and they get to share your memories, too, they will absolutely LOVE you did this!!! It will be such fun for them to have this piece of family history for them and their children. ❤❤❤❤❤
Tara, from my chef perspective your veggie consumption at dinner was perfection! One serving of veggies for an adult is on average 80g, we're supposed to consume 5 serving portions per day (400g), typically 2-3 servings worth with our biggest meal, so eat all the veggies you want! 😊

Have you thought about shadow boxes or shadow box table for some of the bulkier items the less scrapbook type items? With something like that you can change it out every so often.

I just started watching Bridgerton this past week and I think I binged the first 3 seasons in 3 nights. Until I was bleary eyed and couldn’t stay up another minute! But I’m really enjoying it! The sets are amazing, same for the costumes. The colors are just over the top beautiful. And I really love seeing a period piece where all the people are on equal footing regardless of their skin color. I wish that was the same in real life. Imagine how much better the world would be. And some of the scenes are so spicy! Wow! 🤯 I find myself looking away from the TV a little embarrassed, but I’m the only one watching! Except my cats 🐈⬛ 🐈⬛ and they only pay attention if they see bird or animals onscreen, so WHO am I supposed to be embarrassed by??? LOL! So, I hope your mom and dad liked your new guy! 🤞🏻 I’m sure if you like him as much as you do they’ll like him too. Oh, your nails look really pretty!

I'm pretty sure those veggies are meant to serve for people over rice or potato or something else other than by themselves. On top of something like that it does equal for servings as we've done this in my family for years.
Those grocery bags are nice!!! We need to step it up in the states
I came here to say the same!! And ask @imtaramichelle what they do with all of them after? Return them to the store? Or end up with a ton of nice bags? Oh! Maybe use them for making donations to goodwill, etc and then they could use as the bags others go home with when shopping there…
They banned single use plastics (cutlery, straws, plastics bags, etc.) at most stores in large cities in Canada. They do not provide an option for plastic bags anymore so our choices are: at the grocery store for example: pay $0.25 for a brown paper bag, or pay $2 per reusable bag. Most people here collect the reusable bags now and bring their own back the store with them each time to avoid paying again (I keep about 10 of them in my car at a time). And yes, we end up with a closet full of them just like everyone used to with the plastic bags lol
instead of strawberry syrup, try strawberry purée/muddle!! i’ve done it with raspberry where i muddled the raspberries into a latte and it was amazing, cold foam on top too!!
it won’t have that medicine taste with the real berries!!

I was able to go to the Atlanta 1996 Olympics for work and it was a bucket list item checked off the list! Amazing experience and I still have a lot of Olympic gear, pins and all of the ticket stubs to all of the events that I was able to go to! So amazing! 🇺🇸 🥇🥈 🥉

If we are supposed to have 4-5 servings of veggies per day then having two servings of veggies at dinner shouldn't be a problem. That said, it did look like 2 servings rather then 4. It's kind of hard to overeat veggies on any given day
