Tuchel just does not like how Christian plays. Just dislikes his "game", and skill-set. Tuchel also has never even at Dortmund, always has used tactics that do not match well with Christian's best skills. Example -- Tuchel STILL uses Christian as a freaking wing-bac. I said 2 years ago, right after winning the UCL, that Christian needed to find a way out and now it has FINALLY "gone public". Hopefully, they will sell him after the World Cup, but it is unlikely. Most likely he will have to wait until the summer to leave.

Tuchel never saw him as anything more than a super-sub while at Dortmund. Nothing new now either. Tuchel used him as a wingback while at BVB, as well as at a variety of positions. If I were Pulisic, I would've pushed for a move last season, but Christian is far too professional & loyal to his teammates to do that. He clearly doesn't get along with Tuchel, but he bites his tongue and acts professionally, rather than creating "team drama" - and chooses to ride out his contract.
He just lacks consistency and power. He has brilliant moments but his baseline performance is not high enough to deserve to start at a top European club.
