to shed some light on number 1. ive been testing this for a while now. (i first found this on release month) it can only happen when the person you invade hasnt entered that boss before. since these bosses have no fog door initially the game gets a bit confused it terms of invasions. an invader can invade right up until the fight itself triggers. meaning that so long as the host hasnt initiated the boss fight your free to invade. majority of these boss invasions you can simply bloody finger your way into the arena with the host which causes pure chaos. ill admit tthough ive been mostly testing the limits against fire giant. i hadnt considered renala.
Same thing also appeared at the curse rotten greatwood in DS3: you could enter the boss room and get protection but the invaders were only send home when you triggered the fight.
@@envoyofrot7046 I've tested this with malaketh and fire giants and was able to finger inside arround 50% of the time. Not sure about radahn or renala. I remember freaking out when it first happened since I fully expected it to either not work or kick me

I actually invaded a couple of people during the Radahn fight, after I had finished my own. Honestly, I always thought that one was intended, at least in some capacity. Especially since it would actually kind of make sense in the context of the combat festival. I thought it was just becoming a literal free-for-all.
These series are the best, I have sometimes rewatched some of your top 10 kills videos and I still enjoy them and your voice just makes it ten times better man, really love your videos!
I’ve had the boss invasions happen for Radagon several times. Really fun place to invade even if you don’t get a boss invasion. Very good for lightning ram trolling
I got stepped on by a mausoleum when it did a jump. I thought it disappeared like some bosses. I looked around, couldn't see any of his feet, and was like "I didn't know they could disappear too, that's weird. Never seen that befo..." WHOMP. I guess you can only bonk the abyss so long before the abyss bonks you back...
Given how nice and respectful the host was being towards the invader up to the point when the blue came in, I feel like if they’d survived any longer the host might’ve sent the blue home to keep the 1v1 going.
Not sure if it was intentional, but I think the Sekiro could also be a nod to the jump glitch where you can delay your jump by one frame and reach out of bounds as a well-known speedrun trick
currently one of my favorite things as a host is to taunter tongue under a walking mausoleum and fight there. Another one of my favorites had to be one random time when a particular invader got me close enough to aggro one of the giant prawns, which then suddenly grabbed and killed him right in front of me as I could only watch. and then run because I had no idea how to fight the lobsters at that time.
Invading Rennala fights, while rare, is some of the most fun you can have in Elden Ring. Always prioritize the phantom. Because I'm pretty sure Rennala can't hit you.
Walking Mausoleums remind me of a homebrew Dungeons and Dragons creature I came up with - the Funeral Golem. Beautiful, towering constructs of black stone, ivory, and gold. Each one carved with mournful faces, and equipped with a bell tower on their back enchanted to terrify intelligent undead, and destroy mindless undead. They are made by priests of the goddess of death and repose to act as pallbearers for VIPs and to patrol burial grounds for necromancers, grave robbers, and scavengers.

Within the first week of the launch i was invading in the school and I invaded mid phase two Lunaria boss fight cut scene. I saw all the actions of the NPCs as it were my own world. It reminded me of the mirror knight fight. I wish she would spawn players into her boss arena instead of NPCs

The guy who invaded the Rennala fight, killed a host who didn't know he was even there, and then said "yesss, let's go!" in the most nasally, testosterone-void voice possible, is the reason I don't hesitate to spam whatever broken weapon arts I have if someone invades while I'm helping a host with a boss.
i’ve found the phantom finger is really great paired with the new obscuring ring replacement (cant recall name, been awhile since i’ve played)..., just fade away and then suddenly reappear completely behind them. worked really well for me at Castle Sol, since a lot of the spawns are outside. disappear into the castle and reappear outside to stab ‘em in the back 😈
I actually 2 months ago or so made it into the Fire Giant Boss as an invader! I lost the saved video but damn, that was an experience I won't forget 😂 .

I dont think you will find any game that is more worth the money than this. PVP is unbalanced, but the single player experience will easilly give you more than 100 hours of fun
If it ever was a glitch, boss invading doesn't seem to be something FromSoft cares about patching out. Totally saw a host get invaded just a few days ago while I was co-oping vs Fire Giant. I didn't even know it was possible and was caught totally off guard.
I remember almost spanking a gank using carian retaliation glitch back then in liurnia then a lobster grabbed me right before i could kill the host with my very cool inescapably frenzy when he was getting agressive a lobster grabbed me right as i grabbed the host and he was in the animation but didn’t tak any damage and i got killed by the lobster.

In which instances can you bloody-finger into the arena? I had a few invasions like that and I simply could not use my bloody finger at all
