Hey Todd, really enjoyed this video. I like the reviews on all the versions of figures in one video as a comparison. I like getting to see the custom options you have done also. Keep them coming. I like the thought that Blade is a version of Tri-Klops. Maybe Blade is to Tri-Klops what Kronis is to Trap-Jaw, an origin character. I kinda like the idea of the 1987 movie being some kind of weird parallel universe where Eternia is a much darker world. Blade never became Tri-Klops. I'm thinking of stories now.
@@kamikazekrush3758 I too wish they made these 5.5 - when they first came out I was ticked they didn't match the 80's line. But now I have more classics than any other line, so I'm ok with it. (Also they don't fit in the old vehicles :( )
Great video! Thank you! I enjoyed the whole video, but lightsabers for eye-beams? GENIUS! As for the Super7 version of green, I think I read somewhere that they went with the original character model sheet, which had the brighter green colour. The replacement head they sent is nifty, but it's just the same one that came with the figure, without the sticking issue. I boiled-and-popped the original visor, so I didn't really need it. I always reckoned Optikk had an insect / arachnid / crustacean body inside that armour suit (I suppose it was the "tick" at the end of his name that did it for me), but the cephalopod body is cool, too! As for Blade, I remember reading somewhere that the movie-makers wanted to kill off some villain characters during the movie, but Mattel didn't want their own characters killed, so the movie people replaced Tri-Klops, Trap Jaw, and Mer-Man with Blade, Karg, and Saurod, respectively.
can't believe Super 7 dropped the ball on that green color. What the heck were they thinking?!? Sigh... I believe the factory mess up and Super7 make up some PR excuses
Blade is triClops back then they couldn't do a lot of special affects unless George Lucas's came up with A idea THX. affects For HeMan Blade with One Patch. must of been TriClops

Cool, thanks! (I like your idea of Blade too)
Yeah, I think Blade, Karg, and Saurad were supposed to be Tri-klops, Trapjaw, and Mer-man.
I think so too, that makes sense, thanks.
Did you ever consider repainting the eyes of the drones so they match the three different eyes to make them different but uniform?
wow, cool idea, nope never thought of it.
Awesome vid...i have yet to get the Filmation Triklops...its so expensive now
Love 200x design the most, but loved classics sculpt most.
Isn’t sculpt and design same
Same here!
200x and the original for me, the classics are too big and tall for me

That's cool information about those 3 characters from the movie. Didn't know that.
Hi, I'm curious, what kind of peg did you use on Optikk. I'd like to get one for my Slush Head figure.
I just used one from a broken classics figure, I think it was Fisto's.
@@HeBroTV Thanks, I appreciate the answer!
Great video..Amazing collection
Glad you enjoyed
What did you use to make Tri Klops 3rd from the left?

Doesn’t classics Tri-klops eyes visor come off and reveal closed or stitched shut eye sockets?
It's not made to come off, but people have pulled it apart, and he has black squares stitched on.
Great Video He-bro
Thank you
Do you have an 80s Tri-Clops?
Not any more, when Classics came out I got rid of most of my 80's and 200X figures and playsets. (Now a regret doing that)
@@HeBroTV I think i got an extra one I'll send it to you
@@nivsrandom1038 That is very kind of you.

LOL, I'm guessing the same thing.
Is your custom figure wearing Jitsu's tunic? Looks better than the filmation version.

LOL, yep from 3 eyes to one
