As some one who really loves this game, but may never finish it, due to the high level of difficulty, I really enjoyed your review. I’m constantly on the road and don’t really get time to sit down and watch things, so the fact I was able to just listen and follow along with what you were saying made it incredibly enjoyable for me. Loved this review!
The added training mode should help. But I agree, Sifu requires a bit of patience and time. And if you're travelling a lot, I can see why it's even more difficult to get through the game. Personally, I'm glad a game like Sifu exists. It doesn't compromise on its vision, and even though it may alienate some players, that's fine; not every game has to be accessible for everyone. Sifu wouldn't be nearly as fun if all enemies telegraphed their moves with huge delays and sluggishness; you just wouldn't get the same high from perfectly parrying, dodging, pulling off intricate combos and clearing a room of enemies relatively unscathed.
