I found your channel for the Spy cosplay, but bro your channel is hella interesting I barely understand what you're saying, and that just makes me want to learn more!
My advice: don't just buy a 200 foot Ethernet cord as a blanket thing for long cord routing. Signal quality for those things degrades with the length of the cord so what you should do is measure out the approximate distance between your router and computer then buy a cord that is a few feet longer than that distance to make sure there is some slack in the cord when you install it. If you do end up with a really long cord, make sure you get a good quality one. Not just one that advertises itself as expensive and bougie, something that is both sturdy and well rated.
Also, for future reference, link speed (WiFi and Ethernet in this case) is described in bits per second instead of bytes per second as all data is sent in a serial manner. Otherwise, great video!
in between the background music and the style of the video, I was well expected for you to start going ape shit like jschlatt does at the slightest inconvenience, love the videos!
this reminds me of a schlatt video from the music to the complaints. i subscribe. edit: listening further he sounds like one of the postal dude voice actor's in postal 4; i cant remember which one but he sounds like one of them
Most relatable video on pcie wifi/bluetooth adapters I've heard in a while. I'd pay 100€ for an adapter with a networking pro 620 from qualcomm if it existed
I have a basement room, and my computer is connected via a Switch and a 50ft Ethernet Cable, which also connects via ethernet to my Xbox and Playstation. I guess the Playstation is using a 25ft Cable. I'm the only one in the house that uses a Wired Connection! Sometimes it's worth it!
Drilling those two holes for 1gb/s bandwidth is such a good investment man. (especially if you have fiber) Doesn't matter if its wifi 5 or 6, even the wind can disturb your connection... physical connection is just way better.
You have to get the Amazon eero Pro 6E mesh Wi-Fi router setup, one plugged into your computer with ethernet and another as the main router across the house. I had the same problem and wasn't allowed to drill holes and run ethernet through the house. BUT with this setup now its basically like I have ethernet but wirelessly, its flawless, no disconnects playing games and downloading is as fast as it possibly can with our current speed. Place the main one where the router is or even just replace the router with the first one, then find a optimal spot for the second one within ethernet distance to your PC. Then boom best setup possible with the same limitations I had. And hey if it doesn't work for you, no harm no foul, just send it back for full refund. Look into this, this is what saved me from exactly what you are dealing with.
Just one little reminder Mbps is not the same as MBps, this is a small trick that every WiFi company uses to mislead you into thinking the down and up speed that you're receiving is really the one said by the manufacturer, well it's different, one bit is 1/8 of a byte, so next time you see 64 Mbps, then its max speed won't surpass 8 MBps. Anyhow, I use an Alfa adapter as it has way better compatibility with Linux than any other WiFi board that I've tested until now. Wish you the best for finding a good board that doesn't have incompatible drivers, as always
I’m guessing he is from Utah as his previous video, but problem with Utah is a lot of places Ethernet is actually worse than WiFi, so that’s why he uses WiFi
Bit of a problem for people who have VR devices that don't have an option to connect their device directly to the PC, with some kind of cable for data. And even if it's an option to connect directly, it's sometimes desirable to connect via wifi, in order keep from getting tangled up when moving around. Bluetooth has it's own problems as well. I wonder if the lack of viable alternatives makes Intel a monopoly in the wifi market. Are they the sole holders of some patents important to the new wifi standards?
**Sees title** He just like me fr! As for the topic being discussed, I've never liked Intel so all this recent rightful blasting they're receiving is making me feel very vindicated. Hopefully other green colored company is next on the chopping block lol
gonna be honest, you went to a furry convention and went through it completely unbiased, tbh I think you're amazing. but uh whats happening with that "beard" of yours, other than that dont stop posting please
Penguinzz0 ass thumbnail
Looks pretty Insane-o Style to me.

Never have I ever been interested in pc parts. Untill you're editing blessed my screen.
Keep doing what you're doing man, you have alot of potential
I agree if you have the gut to do something out of pure shits and giggles like this man you are by far the most valuable person ever
So went to a furry convention and has a cute ass panda as his channel logo…..🙃😏 I think he might have caught the furry bug hahahaha
You're saying he's been infected with the panda-emic? 0u0
The pathowogen?

Subbed for furry, stayed for special interest
I agree
0:34 bro my internet speed is like 2mb a second... Living in the balkans hits different
Yeah... I can confirm that... I'm from serbia
Goes to a furry convention, is now a better tech. This makes sense.
My algorithm is blessed

I'm loving the callout to Intel and the wildly unfun tech issues they've put onto so many people.
Cast a spell to the internet

So glad im his 628th subscriber just so i can have more information on the issues with wifi cards
im so glad ur video was in my algorithm, i think im watching the right things then
I swear you could get a job as the guy that says "Coming to theatres near you november 2025"
Your content’s cozy asf, subbed bro

motherboard onboard wifi my beloved
Wow, excellent editing 😳
I had this exact issue, both on my laptop and now desktop

In my experience, a long ass cable is worth it.
Yoooo puppycat plush!
Dankpod moment
Anyways DAMN. That genuinely sucks 💀. This ain't even enshittification this is just uh. Shit-
I’ve pretty much entirely swapped to m.2 cards, which typically don’t have intel chips

your personality is so fire
Puppycat
holy shit this guy is so fucking random 😭
I like your puppy cat plushie
I feel you. Z690 taichi motherboard with expensive killer networking manages to be more garbage than my last one :-;
Yeah nah I'd buy 200m long Ethernet cable instead of buying a more expensive option

Just discovered you, keep up the good work!
I’m waiting for this guy to become famous, it will happen and I know it!
99% is caused by overheating, Lowering the temps helps. It's weird but it works.
Just one little reminder

I have the exact same Wi-Fi card for my pc, and I've just had to deal with the problem of Wi-Fi drop-off for 4 years now...
really sucks
Mmmm fiber optic cable mmmm
Please do NOT eat the cables! It will not be a good experience also they are very bitter
Why don't you get a wall plug ethernet a power line?
I’m guessing he is from Utah as his previous video, but problem with Utah is a lot of places Ethernet is actually worse than WiFi, so that’s why he uses WiFi

You should go to an anime con next 😂😂

Same, same
Well fuck, I’ve been having the same problem and just ignoring them XD
Ethernet cable it is
Maybe this is why AMD laptops usually go with Mediatek Wi-Fi module (AMD help make the module as well)
My man, love you, but please, use some ChapStick😭🙏🙏🙏
gonna be honest, you went to a furry convention and went through it completely unbiased, tbh I think you're amazing. but uh whats happening with that "beard" of yours, other than that dont stop posting please
Hi "not happy", I'm dad 😂
Cool
did you tried d-lan? (sorry for the dumb question)
i was gonna ask about this! i didnt know it was called d-lan but i use it
HIIIII
Thought you were retiring already
40 MEGABYTE PER SECOND WITH A WIFI AND YOU SAY IT'S SLOW
ME WITH 5MB/s 🤧
Unless he was talking about megabits, 8Mb=1MB
yo dude random ass question but what are your headphones?
Who in the west is now?
sorry -- why is your router in the basement? context?
Thanks for the advice. Great video, brother.
Subbed for furry, see a furry
realtek also bad
