Funny... How stupid wealthy people are...to need a mechanical metal device that tells you where the Sun is located in the sky when you can just... look up! Oh oh oh wait, let's put a chunk of metal displaying our wealth so we can be targeted. You can do it cheaper with some tape, a pen, and the words "kick me" signed on piece of paper! Lmao😢😂
I have to disagree, I don't have the money to buy an expensive watch, but I still want to own one automatic watch in my lifetime. Of course it would not be flashy, to be targeted as you said, but I'll buy one or repair one at some point. But rich people, they sometimes invest in those collections and do make more money from this eventually. Others just have an obsession and can't stop buying, but people have obsessions with a variety of things, so why single out watch enthusiasts. I agree only for those that buy a watch just to show off, but the same people will do it with clothes, jewelry, cars, etc.
@v.9802 A cellphone has more functionality than a watch. I wouldn't even wear an apple watch or anything on my wrist but I'd recommend it because it's multifunctional. Invest in stocks and people, not an overpriced piece of metal that would be worth 80% less than scrap value. Living in this world is about evolving and upgrading and people keep making the same things over and over and over again and again.
@TechnoTruckerDUDE I wouldn't put a smart watch on my wrist either. I don't have the need to track my heart rate, my sleep hours, my location, and my temperature, I feel fine. I can live without a smartphone just as well. I don't wear jewelry or rings on my hands, I just like to wear a watch. Yes, smartphones have the time, but it still takes you more time to get it out of the pocket to see it than a watch. Investing in people is great. In stock can't comment, never did it. A whole lot of people lose their money there so I suppose depends who you ask. But if you think that those newer gadgets means evolving and are any better than a watch, then you need to wake up soon. They are the same, just possessions, although they do waste our time much more than a watch, so maybe they are even worse.
