I’m originally from Korea and married American and have two kids, 13&10. We visit Korea every summer since my parents are still in Korea and we always go one other neighboring country when we visit Korea. We went Japan 2023 summer and my hubby and kids were loving Japan so much although they already know what to expect from the experiences from Korea. Japan is truly safe, clean and safe! Have been following you guys since you guys are still living in Japan and so happy to watch the journey! My daughter’s favorite food from 7.11 is anything matcha related and my son’s favorite items are of course fried chicken and sausage related items. Oh! Can’t forget about various type of ice cream. Enjoy the visit!
I know they are trying to revamp the US ones to be this popular, but the food quality here is terrible! I miss Japan's konbi culture! Family Mart, 7/11, Lawsons, etc.
I’m currently stationed in Japan, in my 50’s and until I came across your channel failed to invest appropriately. Since subscribing I’ve really focused on my finances. We love 7/11 here, the frozen macaroni and cheese is Awesome . Would love to have a coffee and pick your brains for what else I need to do to make up for lost time.
Konbini's are so helpful here in Japan! You can even pay your utility bills and ship items with their white glove service. You can literally place your goods in a paper bag, which they staple a receipt to, and it goes across the country unscathed. Amazing! Come to Kyoto! It's nice and quiet here this time of year ;)
My wife and I went every day we were in Japan to 7-11 or Lawsons for the fresh Sushi, rice balls!! The local working would line up for them. My wife would go early to beat the 7am rush!
what's so wild is that Lawson's convenient stores were all in the US before Japan. The are originally from Northeastern Ohio and I grew up with them before they closed them all in the 90s
Look at U speaking Japanese, so cool 👏🏾. I speak 4 myself. Side note: U wouldn't dare go to any convenient store in the USA at 2:00 am 😮. Nothing good happens after midnight in the USA ‼️
Try the chocolate bread next time. 7 11 in Asia is like Walmart in the states. Missing Asia right now 😂 but will be back to Thailand soon and will visit Japan this time.
When I lived in Yokosuka I stopped at 7-11 everyday on my way to work!😂 ❤❤❤ A hot can of creamed corn with a snap top was delicious and one of my favorites in the winter. 😂
Please make more of these types of videos. It keeps me inspired while on this FIRE journey!
Man we’re headed there in the summer. Cant wait! Bringing out the language prowess from the arsenal!! Nice!!!
Nice!!
Really cool to watch 👍🏾❤️
Thank you!

I like the smoothie machine it’s like a car wash for shakes 🤣
🤣 Right?! That smoothie machine was wild-felt like my drink was getting a full-on detailing!

Your Japanese is great!
You did the right thing not crossing on that red light.
Absolutely incredible!! Jet lag is real though!
I want to go! I use to live two houses from a 7 eleven in MD. We ventured out past midnight to get snacks back then, but times changed.
So cool!!!
Lolol😂 "It's gonna be a problem"😂😂😂RIGHT 😅

All the plastic tho......i love Kyoto, a lot like DC where I'm from but allllll the plastic 😅
egg salad sandwich- absolutely!
That was how 711 in Sweden was like. It was like a cafe
Yes! 7-11, Lawson’s…convenience stores in Japan are next level!
Impressed with your Japanese!
Missing my Japan days❤. Lived there 2+ years.
Love Japan❤❤
I hope to catch a space available flight to Japan one day. I want to experience one of those hotels.
2am ! Black man??? In us they think you about to rob them
Having never been to Japan, that was a cool experience. When I make it, at least I know I can go to 7/Eleven and find some gems. 👍🏾
Glad you enjoyed it! Japan is full of hidden gems, and 7-Eleven is definitely one of them. When you make it out here, you’re in for a treat! 🍡🇯🇵
Yummy yum!
Onigiri 😋
Packaged in the same triangle fashion. I first saw these in S. Korea.
Yes! Onigiri is a classic!
This video exemplifies why Japan is my favorite destination. Have you guys been to a Don Quijote there? It’s like Walmart. It’s amazing❤

Chocolate bread?! Adding that to my must-try list!
7-Eleven in Japan is life changing! I’m still dreaming of those pancakes 🤤
