Thanks. I think the most impressive thing was momochi clawing back a match that looked totally frustrating and hopeless in the early stages. What a classic!.
This was the first professional Street Fighter match I've ever seen. The match that made me want to play fighting games and actually take them seriously. I'm just here to pay my respects :')

it's the same as guile. you can play her like a runaway character or rushdown, except decapre has a lot of mixups (left/right, frame traps, ex spiral arrow when you're chasing her jump back) and infil played both styles to wear momochi out, you can see momochi getting frustrated with his attempts to get close to decapre
Run away decapre strategy... Well, if u notice, thts how infiltration plays ALL his characters, hit n run away. His akuma, nash, juri, menat, chun li... All the same strategy.
And it works lol. Thing is even if you know his strat you need yo read /when/ he’s gonna run and then act accordingly, otherwise you’re still blocking and he’s ran away safely
@@cactuz116 worked for a time only, and you have to notice that infi didn't win any major tournament in the late sf4 era, also SF5 after the first half and a year, that's what make him away from the ture grand master like diago, tokido, bonchan etc
@@galatse1 yeah. because Capcom realized this problem, so Capcom fixed the problem. Thus it makes Infil can not use the strategy any more.

No he won't, you could see his Akuma is out of the time in ultra, and Akuma is bot as good in Ultra, even the ture Akuma Master Tokido still struggling , I don't thing bringing Akuma would be a good idea when Momochi was playing all day long with Tokido

If you use ultra double you do like ≤60% damage only... Kinda makes most ultras weak af.
For most matchups 1 ultra is fine anyway.

It seems like they were trying really hard to kill street fighter 4 with ultra sf4 not only that but if you watch the videos of the latest tournaments the audio is delayed and the quality is so bad. They should really nerf decarpre and Elena or ban from tournament play.

remember being scared for momochi in this match... any other player would have cracked. maybe he just didnt know how to deal with decapre. thank god he won thuogh for that grandfinal... this was the greatest tournament for sf4 ever

I don't understand decapre. What kind of character is that. Half the time moving here and there for no reason

Lopetego Genio I mean it'd be tough to play against Momochi any other way with a character like Decapre, he has to play it safe. Not to mention people don't really know the match up like his Akuma, all the mix up attempts he went for with Decapre isn't exactly easy. Even if it was he's playing for money, I don't think he should care the play style he uses so long as it works and he's won a good number of important tournament sets outside of this one with that character.
At first, Decapre was main champ for Infiltration in 2015. At second, Ken is cheat imbalanced char that deserve nerf. And, in this game anyone can clearly see how poor and lame Momochi is. His moves are totally awful.

Infiltration is good,but his gameplay is boring as hell.
The keep away strategy that infiltration is using is not going to win him any favour which is why I think there was bias for ken here. But great match overall.

Practically, yes. It drags the match out and it's ridiculously hard to play against. You need nerves of steel.
Watching Decapre matches is a bore because it's at least a minute of Decapre teleport-spamming.

You must be new. Check his wiki page. This guy straight out dominated for a few years, at a time when Japan was the power house of Street fighter.

He doesn't compete as much as far as I can tell.
In SF4 from 2011 or 2012 he dominated for at least 1-2 years (like legit never lost or hardly) then after that he still did very well but he was figured out by certain players a lot more and didn't just dominate everyone.
