Damn zain really knows how to finish. So much pressure, high percent, last stock, game 5, and he full combo’d when he found the opportunity and spikes fiction. Super good finish for a game 5
at the end of game 3 fiction listerally said good game or good job to him, just looking at his body language it seems to me hes just invested in the game no salt at all
Nagstersept109868 Common misconception people have I feel is that phantom moves are moves that should of hit, actually spacing wise they’re moves that shouldn’t hit at all. The way I look at it hungrybox and fiction got free percent for missing a move, damn melee is crazy
@@Imsleepyleaf it’s funny because this phantom hit is often cited as an exception. The shine was in Marths hurtbox in some parts, but the part that was phantom took priority.
@@Imsleepyleaf yeah like shoobopper said, it did his Marth's other hurtboxes, but because it phantomed his body hurtbox, the game didnt' check that it hit his head or anything else and just said okay, phantom hit. I agree that the moves that just miss should be kept, but stuff like this one is stupid.
Daniel Christensen Oh no dont get me wrong I think fiction is a great player. Not trying to discredit him any. But zain has played better players and performed much better. He just seemed off this set.
Fiction really played in spaces that made Zain look really uncomfortable. He couldn’t really work his late aerial dash back game and get any momentum because Fiction kept mixing him up really well and didn’t fall into many traps. 99% of Foxes fall for Zain’s stuff and only Armada, Leffen and Fiction have really had the discipline to really abuse Zains general gameplan. Fiction definitely played the player mu really well this set, Zain just played a little better when it really mattered.
For years we had that ''Fox is so goooood, and shine best move'', and that 20XX bullshit, so I say it's great to have a marth enthusiast for once. Although he is zain biased, it's understandable when you have 8 players out of 10 that mains fox.
fiber jack but it doesn’t make your case because it’s untrue. Of the top 10, there is one solo fox main, and the four others use fox 50% of the time or less depending on the match up. Secondly, fox bias on commentary is commentator based because it’s their own subjectivity. Toph is really the only solo fox main who’s up there commentating, and occasionally scar points out some of fox’s broken tricks. 20xx is more of a dialectic meme than actually praising fox, so none of what your saying makes any sense
That ending made me die on the inside
Even Zain was shaking his head. Fiction read him like 3 times that last stock but all it took was one reversal for Zain to take his entire stock.
@@gsai64 not to mention phantom shining him lol
Sick set. Tragic ending. Can't imagine how tough that loss must have been.
Aw Zain wanted to be nice in the end
Zain ALWAYS finds himself in the most (bull)shit situations in Genesis Top 64.
Absolutely love it!!!!
20:02 the true zain fan knew it was over.

Not sure what ending looked more emotional, this or Hugs vs Chu's Sopo
That ending was like sfat vs the moon at rivalries except reversed
Fiction's salt brings me great joy
You guys are pathetic
The end of game 1 up to that phantom shine is the longest taunt to get bodied sequence I've ever seen
idk, didn't seem like salt to me
at the end of game 3 fiction listerally said good game or good job to him, just looking at his body language it seems to me hes just invested in the game no salt at all
@@elishadayag219 literally exactly what i was thinking
Best set from G6
Sometimes you just gotta be like Mang0, and know in your heart that you've won even when you've lost.
what did zain say to fiction? did he say 'phantom shine?' at 20:00
Melee lies
Zain using whatever cheat code he used on Hbox at smash con last year to beat fiction. The phantom rest to phantom shine.

Phantom hits are just barely misspaced moves

Wow Zain looking really terrible in this set. Missing dashes and grabs and rolling a ton. Doesn’t look like last year summit Zain, that’s for sure.
Nah man. Fiction was making him play bad.
netsofdeath hahahahahahahahhaha do people really think Fiction isn’t good?

THAT WAS CLEAN ZAIN!
Top 10 saddest anime deaths
fiction is doing some serius work here
that grab @3:41
pivot shine and up tilt.
you're the last fox main standing basically. it's up to you fic. Become 20XX
top player privilege
Fiction being the victim of iconic clips
Hey it's traffic to his channel, not all bad
THE FENDY SPESH
holy shit zain last stock last game is always the stuff of legends
Fendy should just step off the mic as soon as zain is playing smh

@@fiberjack645 It is true that fox is most likely the most played character but to say that "8 out of 10 players" main fox is very far from the truth.
@@sel2230 You're right, and I almost wanted to point it out at the end of my comment, but that was really just to make my case, hence the exaggeration

Couldn't agree more.
are you even satesfied when you win due to a phantom shine? phantom hits and invinsible seling glitch are the only 2 things id patch out of melee
Invisible ceiling leads to the goofiest shenanigans though lol
Bruh
Fiction got fuckin robbed.
hype set
Zain played terrible, very uncharacteristic of him
