No wonder people want the Mosbys out of office and out of Maryland. The audacity of Nick Mosby to even introduce such a bill says a lot about how corrupt his family is. And as far as Mayor Scott goes, I still want him gone even though for once he has voted correctly. One move in the right direction is still not enough, he is trying to save his career.
Notice the leaders in Baltimore remind us everyday that these systemic problems in Baltimore City have been around for decades. The crime, vacants, lack of jobs, litter, squeegee....all the stuff has been a problem forever and they admit it themselves. In fact its their go to excuse. But look how quickly they jumped on this pension issue. Lightening speed, warp speed!!!! The city leadership in Baltimore City is a kabal, a major grift operation, a pocket lining never ending atm and frankly they are not one bit ashamed of it. And putting Nick Mosby as the chief spokesman for this latest fleece job is too good for words....I'm speechless.
@Chris i heard an interview with commissioner Harris a few weeks back and he said the drug gangs were not the real problem with violence in the city. That it really was "petty beefs". Then he was asked in the next sentence why he wouldn't send his officers in to break up the drug activities running rampant at gas stations. He said it was too dangerous for his trained, armed police officers??? All in the same interview, all in three sentences. You cannot make this shit up? Its a shit show of epic proportions in Baltimore City. Top to bottom shit.
@Chris well we don't manufacture guns in Maryland so yes thats true but so what. The gun control debate ends by there own admission but they are too dumb to realize it. You can't control guns. Criminals will get them and clearly very young, even pre-teens have them and will absolutely use them. Everything else you say is true also. Its so crazy in Baltimore its hard to believe but the leadership acts like everything is really ok. Otherwise they'd have to admit that 50 years of really horrible policy is coming home to roost. Thats a tough one to admit.
I think now we will have a new governor n a black governor they can all hopefully work together, but idk how they gonna grip the gun violence n mainly drugs influencing the problem.these kids are dumb criminals a kid stole a MTA train like come on

@@donaldsmith7685 What (specifically) do you not like about his "squeegee proposal" and why? While the safe streets initiative and program certainly isn't perfect and clearly has issues Mayor Scott didn't create safestreets. It's not his program. @@robertwilliams5015 Follow the money! Let's see how taxpayers money is being spent with Safe Streets, on which the mayor is stalling, that would be reasonable and responsible. Nothing ever changes in Baltimore for over 50 years. Talk is cheap and BS runs deep. My father-in-law, father of eight, was the first homicide victim murdered 1/2/74 while he was working for his company. An unarmed white taxpayer to the state of Md. Fifty years later, the first homicide victim in 2024 occurred on 1/2/24 at two o'clock in the morning. 16 yr old shot dead in an alley. If Mayor Scott can brag about having less than 300 homicides for the first time in eight years, this tells me that he he has no empathy in his veins. It's like the ones that died doesn't matter, numbers do. He hasn't even married his girlfriend yet after donating his sperm and producing a child. He's proud of this. Baltimoreans, is this the kind of role model you want for your kids? 😭 His five year crime fighting plan isn't working one bit and drug dealers are everywhere. He supported the defund the police effort. That might be a reason the police force is in dire need to get more police on the force. Baltimore, wake up, choose a better qualified candidate or stop complaining.
Summary of Scotts time with c4 and Newman this morning on wbal radio. Scott continues to absolutely denigrate Newman every interview. Scott shows his distaste for everyone and anything that challenges his maneuvers as mayor especially white people. Its embarrassing for Newman and proves how weak a man Newman is. Let's it happen without any pushback. Scott as alway wins that battle. Scott continues to gaslight c4 by saying everything that he does as mayor c4 is behind because they bros and c4 knows what he's talking about, c4 will tell you what I say is true, c4 been there, c4 done that c4 knows the mayor is right. Again win for mayor Scott because c4 just sits idly by as usual and let's that charade go on every interview. Scott blames repeat crime offenders in the city on Baltimore County and reminds us as always that this spike in crime is everywhere, its been before he came around so don't blame him. Scott takes credit for being the prudent, fiscal conservative we know he is by vetoing the pension scam, I mean plan spearheaded by Nick the Greek Moseby. The squeegee situation is cool, no problem, gonna work out and these economic experts known as the squeegee kids, gonna see a drop in revenue by moving to less busy intersections and finally see the light of day, go back to school, get good jobs, get married and raise a nice family. And Scott can't wait for Wes Moore cuz Moore's not white and is data driven, best practices and its cool even though data is not really a plan its just results from plans that in the case of mayor Scott plans that just don't work. Of course Scott didn't say that, I did. So thats the summary in case you missed this in depth, informative and honest interview by the great mayor. And I just would like to know personally wtf happened with Ivan Bates and his campaign promise to end squeegee when he in fact helped create this new squeegee initiative????maybe c4 will ask Bates this when bates ever gets off the white horse c4 has him riding on. Sorry white horse is a colloquium not a racist race horse.
Anyone that gave Ivan Bates or any other candidate a serious look based on a promise to rid the city of squegee workers needs their head examined. Bates didn't fold, he knows just like anyone with any lick of common sense knows that he *can't* fix the squeegee problem. At least not legally. At least Scott is willing to try something.
Not sure why he thinks it is necessary, but Mayor Scott plays the race card a lot. I don't think he is all bad, but he does come across very defensive when questioned. Maybe he's still learning here, but he also comes across entitled and arrogant when questioned.
@@robertwilliams5015 Bates ran on it. 90 days and squeegee is done. He said it, not me!!! Now it's the old Baltimore double cross and he hasn't even hung the family photos in his new office. I'm just pointing out facts here. But I agree, the squeegee situation is just a symptom of bad schools, lack of job opportunities, drug and alcohol abuse, absent parents, other crime and bad leadership. The squeegee situation is not good for business in Baltimore however. If the new squeegee initiative rid the the streets of this nuisance and gave these workers better opportunities it would be fine. But its trying to do both and they can't even get one thing right. Just my opinion of course. Worth about as much as a good squeegee job on your windshield.
