Situat solitar, chiar pe platoul de la intrarea în Parcul Naţional, misteriosul copac îţi atrage atenţia ca un magnet, dominând împrejurimile. Zona Măcinului nu a fost întâmplător aleasă pentru piesa „Cosmos“. Nordul Dobrogei este, de altfel, cunoscut printre astronomi şi fizicieni ca fiind zona cu cel mai limpede cer din România - aici fiind organizate tabere de pregătire şi de observare pentru împătimiţii tainelor galaxiei.
