I'm rewatching this and looking back picking 'The 7th Sense' was really ballsy, and it's ballsy for anyone who tries to perform the song. But, out of all of the survival show performances I've seen where people are trying this song this performance was the closes that I have seen anyone get to the original. Most people get the choreography down and that's good, but you also need to get the feel of the song down. That's what makes this song hard to perform, there isn't one specific feel. There isn't just one specific feel to the song, it's a combination of multiple and you can't let one of the feels overpower the others. Jay and Sunghoon did an amazing job with this performance and this was probably one of my favorite performances from ep 1.
Notice how different bighit boys are? Their vibes kinda hit different. Starting from bts' taehyung, bts' suga, to txt's yeonjun to i-land's jay. Their vibes are so different from one another. Idk what you think abt bts suga and taehyung but yeonjun's vibe is so confident, it sometimes comes off as arrogant for some people but that's just because he knows that he's really good.
