I’m gonna be very honest but I agree with rain a lot. And the fact that he manage to get in it’s because he was the first to perform. Also the votings should be done anonymously instead. To prevent any pressure from other trainees.
I agree, and while he does have potential, so did trainees that were eliminated. Personally, I think Hanbin deserved a spot (green shirt from jopping performance). He excelled in many areas, had a good aura, and potential. He was voted off because of the narrow amount of spaces left and people panicked. The voting style really made me upset, I thought he was gonna be one of the 12 for sure.

Going back to seon's first performance to convince myself that he deserves his position in i-land but still, i couldn't. There are some trainees in Ground that really deserves his spot. I said what i said. Don't hate me but i still couldn't process how his friendliness towards others made him stay when the voting should be based off skills and who has more potential.
i agree. seon is one of my favorites but i want to see him in ground. he could really improve and we would get to see more of his talents showcased. i think in the next episode he might go to ground tho, based on the teasers

You should check out his covers, he also produces his own songs and writes them...he is talented...really talented, he debuted in a chinese group before and is experienced...you really cant see how amazing he is from this shitty show ヽ( ᐛ )ノ

Nah i feel like his entire performance was just meh compare to the other members who got kicked out. I mean cmon he got the biggest advantage cause he went up first. I mean good for him that he gets the idea of the game real quick
Going first is more of a disadvantage because he could be really nervous
Yeah exactly. He volunteered to go up first not picked to do so. That means he had the confidence to show off his skills but he couldn’t. He’s trained the longest out of them all. He should be used to performing on stage in front of judges at their company. He’s just lacking an oomph that’s why he’s still a trainee and wasn’t considered to debut as TXT which was the next boyband after BTS. If this was a Produce 101, he’d be in the bottom of the barrel .

Kim Nana I don’t think he got eliminated on the first round in Produce because he had multiple performances on that show and honestly I think he was just nervous here because he seemed way better on Produce.
@@Crimsoncity1111 all these guys are belift trainees. seon is actually ex yuehua. not all of them are bighit only some, like heesung, jay, and sunghoon the figure skater. i think there are a few more but i don't know them.

Not to be mean but i want him to be on the ground. Others deserve better. He's just there because he's playing nice. Sunoo deserves his place in the iland. Just my opinion

@@siyvek2143 just like in the episode 6 or 7 was it when sunghon was about to go out of the room when Seon started discussing whether he'll get eliminated or not. He stopped Sunghoon from going out and told him to stay. I kinda feel that Sunghoom doesn't like Seon.

He's talented and you can really see the potential. The confidence he have to perform first is great. I hope he could explain himself for not voting Jay tho, he could be misunderstood especially with the editing. It's hard judge ones character with just an episode. Anyway, I think he didn't deserve yet to be on the I-Land, he still need improvement.

Actually it’s not his confidence, he mentioned in the beginning that he thinks he’s the one who wants to debut most because he’s been a trainee for so long, and his friends (TXT) have already debuted, so he said he will grab every chance that gets him closer to debut. He is lacking a lot tho

seon. boy, i definitely like the confidence you have. it's one thing that a trainee should definitely have. however, i just can't seem to like your personality. it's like you're being a "spy" in the team. the fact that you're older, you make it seem like you need to be obeyed. you sure have a talent. i swear. i keep telling myself the other day that you have such great confidence, you are very eager to compete... but after watching episode 2, your character makes me want to change my perspective on you. to be very honest, i would want to see you shape your character more rather than your skills - because i can see you're a quick learner, you dance so well and you have that idol-aura. i sure hope i get to see that on the following episodes. i sincerely would want you to debut, but if you're gonna keep acting like a damn "spy", don't even think about it.
p.s, the voting setup was stupid but on the other hand, i find it as a witty move. we can see who's deserving to debut. fix the attitude or go. that's it.

Honestly, hitting the high note right while being the very first one to perform, I think he did a great job. Plus I really like and respect his confidence, while everyone hesitaded he just went for it, I really think that kind of atittude should be praised. And he's not my favorite member, but still I think he should be praised and respected.

Yup exactly. That's why throughout Iland, I didn't like him. He was there cause of his connections with the other trainees not cause of his talent. And the fact that he didn't vote for Jay upset me even more (maybe cause Jay was my fave).

Aufa K-Live tell his fanbase (if there’s any) to give him advise to improve his attitude. To be honest he looks so selfish and arrogant. He barely raised his hand to pick other contestants, He just stay sitting there after he got in. This survival show has some bighit system in it, bighit really pay attention to attitude whether he is a team player or not, does he can work and blend with other contestant or just come to compete? Bcs they’ll debut as a team. So the producer wont only see individual skill but also how they can work in a team.

Maybe he's still doesn't know what to do at that moment... Give him some time to prove himself, it's just the beginning. 근데 솔직히... 4년 10개월을 연습했는데 저 정도 실력이면 그냥... 아이돌 못 할 것 같은데... 첫 번째 순서여서 특혜 아닌 특혜 받았으면서 본인이 아이랜더로 남을 자격이 되는 것마냥 행동하는 것도 좀 별로임... 방송에서 타 연습생들 뒷담화 선긋기 철저히 살아남기 위한 친목질 정치질까지 아주... 난리도 아니던데 좀 사렸으면 좋겠음 시청자한테도 안 좋은 인식으로 남을 거고 연습생들한테도 배척당할 지 모르니까 알아서 잘 판단했음 좋겠다

This wasn't his best, of course, he'd be nervous to go first, but this song didn't fully showcase his vocals and I am tad bit disappointed, looking forward to what he has to offer in the next ep. Kudos to him though, in real life no one is gonna wait for you, you have to seize the opportunity _yourself_

Seon my pick!! It takes courage to voluntarily perform first... You can see potential in him...it may not be an intense nerve-wracking performance but just like what rain, bang pd and zico said they're looking for potential not an already perfect person...that is what this show is aiming to enhance trainees' ability until they are ready to debut...
Edit: people... Don't hate him just by a single episode... If you have watch I-Land Cam you can see how anxious he is after the first evaluation...he is wandering in I-Land alone maybe he feels he shouldn't be I-Land but you don't have to rub it in his face saying he doesn't deserve it and he's the least among the applicants...he's trying his best okay?

Erika xx may be he’s just lacking in dance, idk. I dont really interest with his first impression tho. I dont see much room for him to progress, may be he’ll improve in this show but i guess it’ll be just a ‘lil bit. He’s almost on his peak potential.
@@SS-zz9lj we wouldn't know... 'coz I've watched Qing Chun You Ni where Yao Mingming the trainee who supposed to debut with SVT... He's been training for 6 years, the mentors saw some lacking in him but at the end he improved and was able to debut with Unine... This is just an initial performance there's more to come :)
