You are misreading pyramid of the pantheon. You never remove brick counters from it. It is inefficient mana fixing that if you use it 3 times becomes a gilded lotus. The only time I’ve played it was in a dedicated proliferate deck and it wasn’t terrible.
I was just about to say with a little proliferation it works alright. For longer games aka in commander it will generate a fair amount of value. Much quicker formats and it’s on the north side of useless.
Same, I've found it ok if I was able to proliferate, I had 2 of them and I also had a way to move counters, like Nesting Grounds. Funny, but too much setup and work to just have a bunch of mana
How to break fasting: First get solemnity so it cant get counters Second, get necropotence so you can get cards without drawing Third, justkidding this still sucks
4:50 That's usually called a "freemium model", often used in MMOs. The game is free to play, but a lot of QoL features cost real money: such as bigger stash size, faster EXP gain and so on. Some of them even demand pay for the ability to rename your character.
When Darksteel Relic was first put out there, I actually ran it in a Metalcraft deck because artifact hate was so prevalent locally. It was just a cheap option to give my Metalcraft effects as much uptime as possible back in New Phyrixia. Was it good? No. Did it have its place at that time? If you were on a budget, absolutely.
Accorders shield is pretty ok in a mirrodin deck, there's a bunch of cards that can bypass the equip cost, like kor outfitter and blacksmiths talent, and it only costs 1 and gives vigilance. Hell you could include it for frodo in a newer deck
25:00 These guys too! They are superb in my Koll deck. I have them all in there, all the 0 mana ones. 22:02 Actually, there is my current commander deck with Koll, the Forgemaster. It goes infinite with shuko and goblin bombardment and any creature or a bunch of other combinations of dealing damage on entry/dieing. Really cool I bought it when it was still like 50 cents XD
Idk how other people feels about the other colors, but when it comes to aggro red and black cards Nikachu have some of the very worst takes... You're not supposed to block or care if certain things die as long as they are fast enough and have above average stats for cost.
@@hbsavage0387 Yeah, the only life point that matters is the last one for any aggro player, but even some defender stuff have some good uses, cinder barrier for example, you drop a 3/3 on turn 1, what realistically can go over it withput trading? It was like a passive removal spell in the old days, I don't doubt it would even see play today in a draft if it was reprinted.
Jeweled amulet is playable. It's not the most efficient, but it's far far from least efficient rock. If your deck wants to run a high number of rocks, this is worth a look. Plus it's Dan Frazier art!
Jeweled amulet is underrated. It's a budget mox. Claws of gix is a good card for any deck that needs a low cost sac outlet. I use it in my creature stealing commander deck. Dark sphere is not bad either. Imagine a green ramp deck casting hurricane for 20, then using dark sphere to be the only survivor.
hmm but can u use delifs cube with an ornithopter and then ninjutsu a ninja and deal dmg plus getting the counter on it.. or did i see there something wrong ?
Gotta defend the Dwarven Pony a bit, remember back then a 1/1 for 1 was already sorta okay. When Jackal Pup was good, the Pony was at least mediocre lol. While I never actually used an Icatian Moneychanger, I did briefly consider it a few times. So there's that. Also way back then Brass Man was okay just as a blocker, never tap him and his text doesn't matter. Hey now Will-o-the-wisp was totally used! That and Vampire Bats! (surprised Vampire Bats didn't make this video)
3:12 : so if we wanted to buff Delif’s cube while still keeping the fundamental idea, We could make it cost 0, and make the ability that costs 2 mana and a cube counter, just cost a cube counter? Would it be playable then? What if, when the cube comes into play, it also creates a 0/3 creature token with flying and “this creature cannot block”? 10:35 : What splice does is written on the card?? 21:08 : This is used in Forgetful Fish / Dandân
10:35 You can't play the card normally. However, there is a spell type called Arcane. If you cast one of those spells, you can pay an additional 1U and reveal Evermind from your hand to draw a card in addition to whatever other spell you're casting.
The Kobolds are a broken combo card, imo. If you have any 2 of them in your hand and a Cloudstone Curio on the battlefield, you can infinitely play them and bounce them back and forth for infinite etb and ltb triggers. All you need then is some kind of payoff, like Purphoros.
Kobolds are like the draconic version of goblins. They're tiny little guys who mostly exist to present an annoying nuisance to 1st level D&D characters.
In some fantasy world's they're little dog people rather than draconic. Still a nuisance to 1st level D&D players. I mean at first level one of these little bastards with a shortbow could be a real problem!
@@derHexenhammer 3 or 4 can be a real threat to a first level party depending on terrain, etc. 35+ are still just a nuisance once you hit level 4 or so.

11:19 SOMEBODY SAID IT BOY DONT REEEEEED XD
I've used Obelisk of Undoing in a Stasis Deck. It can also be used in a mana denial/land destruction deck.
25:15 Kobold is the german word for goblin
Back in the day I played two Trade Caravans in my do-nothing turbo stasis deck. Great card in that one instance.
Vision charm says "of one type to the basic type of your choice " gate is a type as is Urza's...
it is not a basic land type doe
You know, i played Kamigawa block format back in the day and no one spliced into arcane either
It's a mistery up to this day

Yes there is called Cheerios deck so zero cost equipment in that shield not terrible in that context
I've customized the artwork on Delif's cone to make it look like the screen from Guitar Hero!😜

Also doesn't Telepathy mean you can't fulfill the requirement of revealing a card if it or another card requires you to do so?
Some much Mario nostalgia from this streams music!

Why would a green ramp deck hurricane when they see the sphere on the field? It's too predictable.

Utopian Mycon: there are other ways to produce Saprolings, Rith the Awakener can spit out handfuls at a time.

Evermind actually doesn't look like a bad one. It is 1 card for each 2 mana while you play arcane cards. And it will never leave your hand.
Got to do this on 6+ costing cards
Those are missed chances to create great cards, which is interesting in its own way

My first thought when i saw 'one with nothing' was "that's bad??" And then he said "the most anticipated bad card" 😂
Can fasting be used with necropotence?
IDK... Delif's cone could possibly be useful against the one ring protection from everything.
In card games and video games I've heard it called a paywall.
The term I was trying to remember was "In app-purchases"
Imagine a cube of just these cards

Darksteel is a staple in several decks, it goes infinite with several combos lmao.
Darkest hour is disqualified since it’s the lifeblood of the tesya combo
Was just about to say, darkest hour makes Tesya go brrr
Moneychanger is hilarious, you invest your hp to get more down the road? I mean that just seems like good financial planning to me.
Using trade caravan to open up a plains for mana tithe
Put Lifelace into your tribal Scarecrow decks

claws of gix was good to break stasis control decks....
darksteel relic was good for phylactery lich.
I love telepathy i put it in all blue decks i build.
If you just dont draw dredge you can get to the next card in your deck without saccing anything😂
Lots of the older cards really showed their age here
I have a deck that uses "one with nothing."
You could probably replace it with a Swamp or a Typhoid Rats and have a better deck.
This video was made during peak nadu and my guy said bonesaw is bad??
Looks like he got those dry lips
Hidden stag not bad in 10 land stompy.
Arcbound ravenger
Pyramid was good
