Reserved Operation Mode on Mitsubishi ELEMOTION - RSCM, Jakarta

  • This is probably the only vintage elevator remnants at RSCM which the building itself has established since the 20th century. The modernization result is fairly nice, but with Taiwan chimes.
    One of the distinctive features of Mitsubishi bed elevators are the Reserved Operation mode, which people can use the elevator without getting called from outside (which is indicated "IN USE" on the hall panel). For some reason on this kind of LCD indicator, it uses "Exclusive Operation" term instead of the former one.
    To operate that feature, it's simple by just hold door open and door hold button simultaneously and the special indicator will appear. In this mode, door close button isn't working. However, you need to hold the destination button until the door closes. You can see the mode's activation on 1:44 .
    There's also a derelict old elevator in the right side of this. I guess it's a Louser if we look at the outer indicator.
