@@Mijitar low coolant causes no heat, not enough coolant to circulate thru the heater core, the radiator isn't staying full and topping off because that dumb overflow, overheating the engine and/or transmission underheating the heater core
brah. you remind me so much of why I never wanted to move back to my place of origin. And I grew up at 9000 feet elevation. Colorado is a lovely place to visit, but no thanks to all this. BTW... you need to strong arm the one who owns that Tundra for a few hours of garage time now and again... just sayin'
dude!!! I have totally done that before as well - left the plug out. Only without a pan underneath and only realized when the oil ran forward to my shoes standing in front of the car. what a mess. Not good times at all.
Also noticed, the dipstick rotated when you started the car, which tells me the seal on the stick is worn. If you 'can' find a new dipstick, would recommend, so it doesn't happen to get blown out by crankcase pressure and oil mess all over the engine

i used to put cardboard in front of the radiator of my 81 celica in winter , though it was -40f

Hi militar, beautiful car. Keep it up!
Thank you!
thermostat
Works perfectly in normal weather 🤷🏽♂️
@@Mijitarprobably cus its stuck open and has coolant circulating at all times
Agreed

Or No thermostat, I took mine out for overheating issue
I had one of these in my early 20s. Mine was a *SHIT. BUCKET.* Could slam the door and watch the rust fall off. That said I DID buy it for $400.
@@NotRealNamesAgain hey got you from pint A to B. Fortunately 0 rust on mine.
@@Mijitar That won't be the case for long if you keep driving it in the winter.

Celica 2 good at cooling. Also don't sweat about oil, it's a 22R-E! They're practically indestructible the internet tells me!
Feel up the hose going to coolant resevoir also, no air in that line or problems

@@BCs300z I could’ve moved it, but the celica and icy driveway don’t mix. Open diff👎🏽😂

@ yea I went back and it clicked into place. Nice and clean. Keen eye tho
@BCs300z was a tragedy. Spare oil saved the day.
