- here is my first impression of this new climbing saddle platform from broadside stands!
this platform is going to be huge for most mobile hunters as it yields an impressive profile while being lightweight and kicks the needs for any climbing sticks to pack in!

For our viewers they are having a Black Friday sale that if you use the code: 30PNTR you will drop the price from 424.99 to $297.50!
Hurry this only runs Friday to Monday!
Hope it’s not too late! Was able to use the code today. Looking forward to receiving the stand and doing a review on it on my channel too. Order #1020
Glad we could save you some moolah!
@@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA much appreciated!
Can't wait for the full review. Decided to try saddle hunting next year. This would be great where I hunt.
Right!
I just ordered me one. Thanks for the code for the black Friday sale. Help out alot. I don't even have a saddle yet. But like this concept to buy before I have a saddle set up.
I like your style!
Pretty slick concept! I’m definitely interested
Once I’m back from Tennessee I’ll be testing it!
We need another video on using this and thoughts after using it. Im super interested in this since I live in the SE of the US with pine trees everywhere. Im too stubborn to go back to a climber and toting those big joekers around. Lol
It’s coming waiting til season is over before I start filming more with it as I’ll have time to tinker
I’m impressed they switched to the rubber coated cable. I thought this would be a great product with a stiff cable instead of the amsteel. Now they’re doing it it’s impressive.
I can’t wait to use it!
Price of a full climber for half the product. Jesus these prices are out of control.
That’s kind of the point 🤣🤣
I want see u climb with that platform please do more of reveiw
That’s the plan
I think you need to try Eastern Woods Outdoors and thier Ulitmate One Stick. So fast and easy. And u rappel down, who doesnt want to be Batman on way down. I love it. Same as this its all you need.
I’ll check en out for sure!
@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA I think you will love it, it's amazing how easy it is once you do it to go up and down a tree real fast.
I was laying in bed the other night and thought of this idea. Cool to see someone making it 🤙🏼
Yessir after turkey season Wel be getting it out and testing it out!
@@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA I’m going to modify my current platform into a climber. Shouldn’t be too difficult
@joegauvain I dig it!
I wonder if you misted those pins with flex seal or something to kind of rubberized it if it would quite it down
It possibly could but two nylon washers would do it and you can buy 100 of em CHEAP they are lifesavers ahaha
I feel like if you had an UL frame pack, you could use the platform as a packout bench..
That would work too !
Strath strip stuck to the platform where the pins go the pop a hole through that and it would be silent and no washers to drop.
I dig it! I just would leave the pins in or glue the nylon washers to the platform
The rope is a leash to keep the climber from falling all way dow tree so u can adapt to yourself or tether
Yessir that is correct
When will you make a video with you climbing with it? Before you do I wish you would try it the way I'm doing it in the video (Climbing Platform??).
Will be once turkey season ends and we start heading towards archery prep
@@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA Cool beans.
I tried to recreate this with my platform. I had mild success. Three constructive criticisms, the belt seems short, going around any branches would be an ordeal if possible at all, you can’t rest your feet on the strap so now it is an obstacle. The metal can be silenced by taping the surrounding platform. There is a similar product that can be viewed on TH-cam that is more universal. Sorry to be so harsh
Not harsh at all
I won’t have any performance based opinions til I get to hunt out of it several hunts we don’t create opinions until we see how it performs
Good to hear that. Keep us posted.
@tomzygmunt6891 always do 🤌🏽 make sure to subscribe so you don’t miss the update videos!!
They need to make one like half this size to use in conjunction with ring of steps
I think the whole point is to avoid needing any sticks/steps etc
Seems like you would be limited to trees that don't have branches on the way up similar to a climber. My one buddy is trying to convert me to one sticking. I don't feel like investing in the repel equipment and to me the all the extra rope negates the weight savings from the sticks.
Yes it’s be like any climber but luckily for me it’s not a big issue at all as that’s how I used to hunt behind my dads house in the swamp for years, just the weight and sound we’re never beneficial and really hindered my success in the swamp
How do you pull yourself up and down?
By climbing like a normal climber
@@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA yeah but a normal climber has a top half you can sit on and pull up. Do you just hug the tree?
@The_Rut_Funnel I would imagine so I will know when I get a chance to test it afield
When you set your platform move your tether or lineman’s line higher lean back in the saddle pick up your feet and set the platform and repeat
it shows how to use it on there website fully its a saddle platform so you sit in your saddle and lift your legs @@The_Rut_Funnel
I use my Ol man climbing platform with my saddle if I don't want to use my sticks
Nice!
nice interesting product but would been nice to see ya butt use it... HAHA.
That’s coming as I explained n the vid 🤌🏽🕺🏼🕺🏼
yeah I heard that just impatient fun poke@@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA
@Liam-ql7tr I hear ya ahaha
@@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSAbeen two weeks as of Dec.8th 😂
@brianbrady9475 thanks I hadn’t known that!
Haven’t had a second to be in the woods let alone film
Good idea but I'm hunt trees with limbs and cover so climber doesn't work
Well then clearly wouldn’t be for you lol
Tether it to you incase it slips from your boots
Good call!
I'm planning on having a repel rope like in the one stick method. But I will put a small rope from it to me just in case.
@brianbrady9475 I dig it!
No demonstration videos
Junk. I’ll use my lone wolf climber.
How do you come to the conclusion it’s junk without even trying it? I’m unsure I see the difference between having this or a LW climber
