Communist countries have a strict march because they practice for months, but democratic countries do not have a strict march because they only spend that time training. However, this does not mean that its combat power is weak. Because the important thing is not the march. Of course, it's good to see a communist country marching. It's just painful for the soldiers.
Yeah for me it's simple: You either spend time for most of your armed forces doing fancy grand parades (like in Russia, China, etc) - or you spend the time actually improving relevant military combat or other skills. Can't have both equally or as well. I'd rather have us democratic countries hone our combat and military skills in general. Only if that is covered and there's resources left for fancy parades, sure, then go for it.

The Korea Military Academy and Korea Army Academy uniforms were based on officer uniforms from the Korean Empire era (1897-1910). Thats why they look old school.

The ROK military was originally trained by the US so the uniforms were heavily influenced by American uniforms. South Korea never had a western style military tradition. Korea was occupied by the Japanese from 1915 to 1945. The country was split into North and South in 1945 which led to the invasion of the South by the North in 1950. The war ended in a ceasefire in 1953 and we all know about ceasefires. The war is still on, which is why South Korea has mandatory military service. Seoul is literally under the gun being within range of thousands of North Korean artillery systems. The South has become increasingly frustrated with the North and it's increasing hostility. They've abandoned all attempts at reconciliation which is why this parade was held last year after a decade of being the nice guy. It sent a clear message to the North. Don't mess with us!

Interesting. I wore a uniform for over 25 years, and never once did I even vaguely consider comparing my uniform to anyone else's.🤔 Do Brits have military parades? We have them here in the USA (Armed Forces Day, Veterans Day, Memorial Day) but being the United "States" of America, these parades are usually organized on a local level. Back in the day (when it was still accessible) I attended an Armed Forces Day event at the Picatinny Arsenal in NJ. It was an awe inspiring event with a parade, mock military maneuvers, low level flyovers by F-4 Phantoms and live firing events for civilians (shooting blanks of course) using M-60 machine guns and M-16 rifles. It was quite the spectacle! Since 9-11 though, I don't think the arsenal is open to the public anymore. Why in the world would you want to go visit South Korea or New Zealand?😳 Have you already seen all of the UK? I mean, I know it's a tiny country but I haven't even seen half of the USA in my lifetime. Why would I want to visit another country before seeing all of my own? Bragging rights? I'm just curious.🤔

You should check out Singapore's National Day Parade. Includes armed forces, civil defence forces and youth uniformed groups.
If this is anything like the planning for division runs in US I wonder what time did lower enlisted had to be up, and how many of them are hammered during the parade?
Just imagine the size of a full U.S. military parade... If we did that kind of stuff.
👍
U never released the video on Kentucky ballistics also great video
Why are so many Brits joining the Korean military? This is strange to me. I saw about 25 blokes in the Navy
The red coats uniforms that march on the United Nations forces belong to the Royal Thai Army.
The Thai army sends soldiers there on behalf of the United Nations.
If you are wondering why there are Thai soldiers stationed there. Because the Thai army had sent 11,776 soldiers to help fight in the Korean War.
That airforce honor guard uniforms were so sick
You should actually see if anyone has done a video for the parade held during Cheyenne Frontier Days. The last full week of July in Cheyenne, Wyoming is a series of events centered around, for lack of a better term, western culture. Parades are held, which include some military groups. I think he would find it fun to react to a video of our parades. Yes, it’s my hometown. 😅
The better the parade the worse is the actual military. Like the North Korean parade always looks straight out of a movie. The American attempt at a parade looked like it was organized by a local elementary school.
I would love to see you react to more parades
Checking out military parades , you should check out the Mexican military parade
Some of the officers' uniforms are neither uniform nor worn.
This is a uniform for an event.
@originalhuman you should do a reaction to West Point cadets U.S Army Military Academy
I am also an auist for the uniforms history but I'm slightly worried there may be a reason for this
You should check out north Korea now
Why did you leave USA , and did you ever do the road trip you said you were going to do?
Please react to next Philippine scout ranger regiment training😊
❤
The red coats are coming
Please react to the Indian navy telefilm
Very US style fatigues.
Especially with those Academy cadets
Kind of obvious.
서방권 군대와 공산권 군대의 차이임 -_ - 특히나 우리 군대는 쿠데타 이력이 있어서 착하고 친구 같은 이미지를 유지할려고 함 -_ -;;;;
This might be the worst military parade in the world
