frs1 and frs2 ? I'm having huge problems programing using the cps software. How about doing a video of programing the radio with frs and gmrs freq's? Thank you
Ok, one FINAL note. When recording though Audacity, make SURE that the speaker volume is NOT all the way up !! I made the mistake of making all of my recordings TOO LOUD ! So, I had to GO BACK, and RE-RECORD ALL THE CHANNELS !!!! I had my volume this time set to around 60%. That seems to be better then 100%. Just an FYI !
Will this work on the xts 2500 as well? I've tried a hundred times and get the same error "No compatible voice files found". I used audacity as well and made sure to set the bit rate to 8000, the file was under 58k and under 2 seconds and saved as a .wav file. I made sure the voice files are in the right directory and the radio is on before trying to compress the files but it still says my voice files are not compatible. After you record the file do you choose export as .wav ?
GREAT video of this! Man, thanks Mike. I tend to forget this stuff easily. Now I can just go here to get back up to speed :) Yeah, I was EXHAUSTED! I still am, lol. Man, GREAT JOB explaining this! Thanks for putting it up!
Can you do a updated version
@lukefwjross Thats good to know. The AT&T site is back up. I guess they were updating or something.
