He teaches a better Double leg than most Jiujitsu blackbelts teach. I'm impressed that he knows so many hidden details 😉

I have a question. How am I going to drag my opponent after grabbing behind his knee towards on the left when he is all sweaty ? What I am saying is that I cannot get a good grip when my opponent is sweaty. My hand just slips from my opponents leg when I am trying to grab because of my opponent's sweat. And I get guillotine choked by my opponent.

+Authentic Max Two solutions to this weird problem.
      A) Train your hands to be able to grip better. I.e. do grip training with weights. Knurled barbells doing heavy deadlifting with only chalk is going to make your grip a lot stronger. Monkey bars, you know the sort of stuff.
      B) Don't try and literally grab with the palm of your hand. If you are long limbed you can easily wrap your entire arm around their leg as if you are going for a rear naked choke - so your elbow-pit (is there a better word for this lol? The bit of your arm on the inside of your elbow) is what is wrapping around their leg. You don't need to grip anything then - you just trap their legs and then go for the takedown from there. If you have short limbs this means you need to get even deeper under your opponent to execute this which gives them more time to react, however, shorter limbs tend to be stronger and really fucking hard to get away from so it's not all bad.
Concerning the double leg takedown itself at 1:36 you want to bring that back leg just round the back of their front leg, on the outside before you go for the takedown. Meanwhile your head and your back wants to come totally upright under their armpit. If your back is upright you cannot be guillotined - they might trap your head, but you will take them to the floor and they will not be able to finish the guillotine. And when your head is high up behind their armpit and you go for the takedown remember you are not pushing forward. You are pushing off at an angle. You want to swing your head and upper back in the direction that you are pushing with your legs - your arms don't do the work here. It is your back and your legs, your arms just trap your opponents legs so they trip over. You don't even need to lift them off the ground with your arms - although that makes it far easier to avoid ending up in their guard post-takedown.
P.S if you find yourself only being able to get deep enough to grab one leg rather than both simultaneously, then the simply answer is that you must practice your takedown execution. So that is something to drill! You need to learn to spring into the takedown faster and deeper.

Torpid DOW Hmm, Thank you very much for answering. Is there a good quick technique video which will help increase my speed to spring or lunging forward for the takedown faster and deeper ? Do you reckon animal movement training like moving on four feet like an ape a good way to increase the springing speed ? I am sorry, I have zero background on wrestling so my question might sound stupid.

The best thing I have learned to avoid this is to go single leg with thd head on the inside and then drive for a knee tap
