What are the brown things all around the White House?

- Just a quiet bike ride today as nothing, and I do mean nothing is going on in Washington D.C. But still we go looking for something, with a nice ride through Georgetown, the Lincoln Memorial and the Washington Monument before heading over to the White House where we notice some mysterious brown tarps covering something. I think it's some sort of radio system, but not sure because it's covered in a brown tarp. And there's not just one--they are all around the White House. Wonder what it is?

Couple updates: 1) sources have told me the brown things may be a new anti-drone system. I'll have more pictures when the tarps come off. 2) DC allows Idaho Stops for bicycles, which means we can treat stop signs as yield signs. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Idaho_stop
Signal jamming devices. No signal and drone falls to the ground. Threat averted. Thanks for the update!
Thanks for the info.
DC is a c40 city ... by 2024 no meat no travel outside 15 mins so then you can ride better safer??? Perhaps everybody move away caz no meat mostly. and no cars
Why would Albert Pike a Confederate. Be buried not too far from the White House.
Was waiting for update on brown things. Thanks. Now to confirm 😊
Drives that bike like he stole it..😂
Ha yep
As an American citizen this is the one place I'd never set foot. Video tour is close enough.. thanks for the thrill ride.
I agree! So corrupt there! Too many demonrats.
Completely understand but it's so sad that our once great government has made the American citizens feel that way. 😢
I wonder if all these changes is China repoing D.C. and prepping to take possession.
Cuz DC became a corporate entity in 1871. Capitalism and free market are enemies. Wish we the people knew that. 🗽🇺🇸🤙
Oh, you have to go! This is our heritage and our history! There is so much there you won't see it all in a few weeks!
I wonder if, under the brown tarps, are laser projectors that will be used to simulate the Project Bluebeam holographic alien invasion. (I’m half joking.)
Now that's a really good guess/idea... If that were true, with several of them they could really mess with people's minds...
I grew up in D.C., lived on Good Hope Road down by the library, down the hill from the orphanage. When I was in high school I was a jumper (paper delivery) on the Evening Star trucks. My usual route was down "M" Street and up Wisconsin Avenue (I thing that's right) up to where the route ended just past Massachussets Avenue. I almost got creamed by a Metro Bus walking across "M" Street with a load of papers on my shoulder after an afternoon rainstorm when I lost my balance slipping on a trolley rail still in the pavement. As a child I can still remember riding on the trolleys downtown where all the shopping stores were. My mom frequented Lansburgh's, Woodward &Lothrop, and another I can't remember the name of. I do remember Atlas Sporting Goods where my dad liked to get his fishing gear. Anyway, I enjoy the rides on your bike, brings back many old memories for me. I am 70 now and was born just up from Union Station in 1953. If you read this thank you for taking the time. Rob Brown (living now in N.C.)
Thank you for sharing.

Fun story. Best regards~n
Wow awesome! Thank you for sharing such wonderful memories...from a better time!
fantastic!
As an American citizen, I feel ashamed that Capital has been turned into an armed camp---blocked streets, restricted access, buffer zones, etc... I visited very briefly, back in '76. It was a much different place---much more open and friendly. I have wanted to return. But, no more. It just looks too depressing and tyrannical. I'd be wanting to beat someones's ass.
And they won't tell us who left a bag of blow inside it? Someone sucks at security with all the war like barricades outside and more than once drugs found their way inside. Makes me wonder what kind of stuff finds it's way out of the place.
You've got the right skills to be a New York cab driver, The way you ride your bike through traffic is wild.
A true swamp dweller
It was fun to ride my bike through Washington DC today - - oh, wait; that was you! Thanks for taking us all along, what gorgeous trees you guys have out there~
Thanks for being my scary movie today with all your fancy biking close calls! Geeze you freaked me out p6!!!! I was on the edge of my seat!!🤯🤯🤯
he is not biking and you can hear that he is driving not pedaling
Me too.
@deansing2405 so an electric bike is not considered biking??
Right!?
It's like I'm there with you. Whew! Exhilarating ride! Just wondering, though, why you didn't stop directly in front of one of those brown things and take a good long shot of the thing so we could see it up close. Would have been interesting to see whatever we could see of it.
Andrew- you have peripheral vision, but from the limited camera angles that we see, the ride is positively scary!
This is a good point. It looks much scarier when I edit the video then when I’m biking.
Dang! Is your middle name Evel Knievel. Ynuk-Ynuk, thanks for the content & thrill ride.
Yeah, he needs a camera dongle that will turn independently from his head. When passing a site of interest, he kept turning his head to keep the site in view but it was obvious that he was jeopardizing his forward vision to do so.
i am guessing that he doesn't know what it is like to be caring for small kids in public places or to not be all that agile on one's feet.@@hearmeout9138
I hope his insurance man doesn’t see this 🤯
P6!!! You are scaring the heck out of me! Lane splitting, no stopping at stop signs, eh? Be safe!🤣
I know! He is a seasoned pro but it's so scary. No helmet 😧🙈
I completely agree! 😢 P6, 🙏 listen to your subscribers....safety first and always, dear friends or better yet, for your family's sake 😊
Agree, he was a bit wild on this one. I made it to the end, but it was certainly iffy. 🤪 Sweatin bullets (can ya say that here?)
Bike helmets didn't exist when we wete kids.
You should watch at 1.5 speed scarrier.
Oh, the brown things? We have then fully deployed out here in California's Bay Area... once they are utilized, you will see a tower structure with cameras, blue blinking strobes, real-time surveillance cameras and communication equipment. It's meant as a a foil or deterrent to criminals. Good luck there!
Those brown things could be access denial devices that cause either heat or noise to get people to leave the area.;
........it's evil .
nah.
Covered like blobs of 💩 interesting . Laser beams capable of burning ppl maybe ?
Wild ride today, Penguin. I’m white knuckling my desk! 😂 You’re a great tour guide and I appreciate your historical knowledge
He could stop or slow down more! It would be an awful video of a door opening on him!
@@gayehenley1550 I agree ... he could just stop ... later fast forward. He's so good but we really want him safe forever we no need to have such a cool vid all the time. caz you know ... there's odds
In my head, his narration was perfectly mixed with soundtrack by John Williams. "Over there is the Washington Monument, calmly dodge colliding asteroids... oh good, not too many TIE fighters today, Potomac River, jink around some lasers, there's Thomas Edison's house..."
As an experiment, I tried that soundtrack idea. For the true Disney Star Tours experience, pause it around 6:00 and open another tab with "John Williams Asteroid Field" at about 2/3 volume, then return to this tab and resume the tour. Whee! (Ok the dynamics are all in the wrong places, but you get the idea. Does anyone feel like making a "highlights" video for us?)
@DistracticusPrime Yes...perfect!
Imagine that…a swamp in DC. Looks like they’re really making it “homey” 😂 😂😂
DC was built on a swamp.
What a great ride for those of us who have never seen d.c. thanks brother, good work!
No one wanted a 20 minute tour..we just wanted to see the brown things.
IKR, in an attempt to LEARN THE TRUTH (of these brown tarped items) now I've spent another 20+ minutes reading comments, peace.
you were the youtube i saw that showed the hazmet squad at the whitehouse the minute the cocaine was discovered? i felt so lucky to know immediately the main street media didnt report for hours if at all. so glad for your video tours and info.
Loved the tour but dude, we are going to be reading your obituary if you don't stop running stop signs, red lights and squeezing beside cars in their blind spots!
not to mention the people on the pathways.
🤣…….bikes don’t have to stop in DC.
WOW, do bikers not have to obey the stop signs? I'm just curious because we do, and we have to wear helmets.
One word…Helmet!
We need a detailed closer pictures of those brown things, then i will analyze them.interesting find tho.
Museum of Failures better be clearing out a whole lot of space for Biden’s history.
If they’re looking for presidential failures, there’s one that had multiple failures including casinos, water, magazine, hotels, etc etc
Soo true... Well Andrew did say it was new, lol. Built ESPECIALLY for Biden I think lol
He's already had far more successes than Donnie. Donnie will be the centerpiece for his COVID failure alone.
@@1.crazy.redhead Built for Donnie, no doubt. . Not one major accomplishment apart from letting one million Americans die, because he failed to respond to COVID.
They'd need the _whole_ space.
Oh my heart! I have never been so nervous watching someone give a bike tour in my life! Exciting and informative :)
Todays adventure was a wild ride with lots of interesting sites and history, great job Andrew!
I love these history tours Andrew but you give me anxiety on that bike lol. Love it
God bless you and your family. Interested to know also what those brown things are.
Wow what a wild ride in DC today! I had my foot on the brake the whole time, It was like an amusement park ride, but fun. Thanks for all the info and history lessons..you are a great guide!
Your bike has foot brakes? Hahaha!
In order for people to guess what is under the brown tarp, you should have come to a complete stop and zoomed your camera in, lol.
You're full of information!!! Love your rides❤ Thank you for making DC special in spite of.........
Very suspicious brown things Holmes, I bet Professor Moriarty has a hand in it, we must investigate there's not a moment to lose.
I visited there in late 80s......was Very Impressed with the 'National Monuments' and most everything in the "Smithsonian'.....the Govt bldgs.....The White House was actually 'open for tours' .......all-in-all, a great town to visit.....The Lincoln and Washington Monuments were SPECTACULAR ...........
It is a SWAMP!
Imagine that traffic laws don’t apply to bicycles
P6 ... I do not always comment - however I love your tours. I've only been to D.C. once in 1980. Memorable trip, but it's not my kind of place. Guess I'm simply a Texas kind of old lady .,,, Your tours have given me a grudging respect for the place - history, formality , center of power - be it good or horrific , and a remembrance of things that once were constructive and positive.
It's a beautiful city with old neighborhoods and a great place to live. Don't let TV give you a bad idea about cities. DC is always renewing itself and is a lively place with many families. Conservative media always tries to make cities look violent and dirty, and they try to scare you off.
@@loosilu- Don’t trust or respect the Devil corruption government system since Biden is puppet Clown 🤡 selected Not elected President by Deep States/ Shadow government behind the curtain by CIA, FBI, compromised Bad greedy billionaire big banks 🏦 big corporations

I was there in 1980 too, the one and only visit for me. Never wanted to go back. It was nuts then, can't imagine how much busier it is today.
@@loosilu My goodness, it is conservative media! You know if it were not for the pesky conservative media think of how beautiful, safe and prosperous cities like Baltimore, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Seattle, Portland, Chicago, New York City, and Los Angeles would be!
@@ima40schic Please stay away from all cities, they re far too dangerous and scary.
I'm 55 and have lived in east coast cities and London all my life. It's painfully clear you have lived an extremely soft and sheltered life.
Good grief, my heart was in my boots when you were weaving around the traffic!
Maybe the brown things are portable toilets so the President doesn't have to remember where the toilet is at.
If you don't ride bikes much you might think it's scary. But this is totally normal riding in a city. Plus the camera isn't showing you the whole view he's seeing. Thanks for the tour of DC.
Yes, I Am Curious What's Under That Brown Cover Also, I Hope You Find Out!
Consistently awesome informative and unique content. Thanks for what you do 💯
You’re scaring the crap out of me with your driving. I’m practically screaming over here.
I had to turn off 😂 scared me too much
passing on the right, going in and out of traffic, riding on the sidewalk meant for pedestrians, riding right beside doors that could open at any moment... I would think you'd be cheering for the "illegal water seller"
The title has a ring - or rather pong - of incontinence to it. The euphonious music Duke Ellington and his men created is one of the highest points in America's legacy, the stench of the current political system the lowest.
Thank Donnie for introducing the stench.
@@loosilu You must be very naive to think that the stench was introduced as late as 2016/7. How old are you, twelve?
Thanks for the education of the buildings and the streets!!! That was cool!!
DC Swamp going to be drainoed!! Thank you for the tour. 👍
Thank you so much for this adventure through the city, it was wonderful I watched every minute. I wish more people would do this for the towns they lived in.
the brown tarp things are definitely suspicious...
The flower baskets on some of the streets are beautiful. An interesting tour today seeing all the different house styles. Some very old I’m sure. The river is lovely. I’d just love to sit there and watch the activity. Always repairs going on in cities. Thanks P6
Georgetown is probably the oldest neighborhood in DC. The oldest houses there are pre-Revolution.
Love the touring of our capital! I would love to see more especially the homes and special places , thanks
I was surprised that you can go through stop signs. In California, they give you a ticket.
Had a slight panic attack watching you ride through traffic......good Lord
Can't believe the Gold Dome is still there!! A sight for soar eyes. My first checking account was at Riggs National Bank. How wonderful. I use to ride my bike from 33rd & P over to Watergate. The Watergate had the most fancy large grocery store so I would ride my bike over there and lug groceries back home ... otherwise it was Neem's market and the grocery store up on Wisconsin. Memories... thank you. ❤

You going down M St was hilarious 😂 love these videos! Your history of DC rolling out of your brain fascinates & amazes me! And thank God not many polically snide comments today!!! Yay!
Love the tour but it's also a great demonstration of why drivers hate bicycles....
No wonder people hate bicycles.
Oooo! Love the floor to ceiling windows on your country home to take in that gorgeous view! ❤️You are so blessed! Beautiful homes at the beginning of the video.🥰Interesting stories & information too! 👍Pretty flowers on all the lamp posts in Georgetown!😍 Loved this video! 👍🥰 But...What ARE those brown things?! 😄😆 I really was hoping you would peek under the tarp! Maybe tomorrow...? 🙏😁 (Maybe it's some kind of protection/defense against D E W. 😬 (I am really concerned that Arizona, my state, may be next on the list. 👀😥)
Life comes at you fast rolling around DC on that.😮
You went through my old neighborhood in Burleith! I lived at 37th and R as a college student, and the house was passed down to my friends for the next 5 years. That's the corner where the famous spy mailbox was located, and it was active while my friends and I lived there. We used that mailbox all the time! It's now in the Spy Museum. Thank you so much for taking me back to that area!
NEATO !!!
A spy mailbox? Now that should tweak some imaginations on here! Better than a yard ornament, because they often get stolen.

My dad went to Western high-school.
The brown things emit the brown noise. When activated makes people crap their pants. Cho can verify.
You are so brave!!! No way I’d ride a bike in that traffic!! Enjoyed the tour.
I wouldn't say you're a very safe bike rider 😢 idk maybe it seemed that way on my end 🤔 oh and thanks for not letting us know what the "brown things" were for when I thought that's what it was all about 😞
I know, right?! It was barely a blip in the video. He could not even be bothered to stop and zoom in on it to give us better views yet this is what he titles the video .... very frustrating.
Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.

The truth is that Trump was arrested yesterday for the fourth time, and his mug shot is HILARIOUS! Of all the people you chose to worship, you picked that piece of crap.
@kevinclark3086 What number commandment was "Worship the sleaziest fake businessman in NYC and send him all your money because he says he loves you?"
@loosilu 😂😂😂 Peggy Bundy, go drink another bottle of vodka cause Trump is living rent free inside your empty head 😂😂😂.
Love how you blew through every stop sign. Don't be surprise the day you end up in the hospital due to one of your distracted biking excursions. I just pity the poor bastard who hiuts you, cause in D.C. kangaroo court, you'll be able to sue them despite being totally in the wrong.
I like the bike rides. Fun not scary. Go for it dude.
it's amazing that you are allowed to ride on the sidewalk...
Brown thing sounds like microwave crowd control device!
Please use the bell to let people walking that you are behind them.
Loved this video! Especially the narration!
How fast do you go on the bike? It seems scarily fast sometimes!
Thanks for the history lesson….very interesting! But good grief!!! You’re fast driving scares me! Lol!
Knowing you survived to post this video made the jump scares okay, lovely tour, thanks.
Love your bike tours 😊
They are used as barricade. Either filled with water usually. Mostly likely maybe with sand as a defensive barricade against shooters
That would be useless against shooters, it would be to stop vehicles. And it's in the wrong position to stop vehicles.
He said it was on a tripod which went up about 15ft. With a flat box on top..
That brown thing is weird...maybe it's a lizard person pod 😂
Thanks for the bike tour. Much of the city has remained the same and some has changed quite a bit. I worked construction in many of the areas in this tour. It was always a great city but the clutter in places is a bit over the top. Brings back memories.
It’s the 60th anniversary of the March on Washington.
Thanks Andrew. Loved the ride through the neighborhoods and interested to see what the brown things are :)
You mentioned "The life of crime" in DC while not stopping at several STOP signs.
I was holding my breath in some of those scenes! Good grief and all while you calmly chatted on.
Dear Mr Penguinsix, I always enjoy your rides about DC,.... BUT your bicycle rides simply scar the sh** out of me as I feel like we are going to CRASH!!! Rick

Just as you said I'm looking got weird art, I thought to myself at least it's not motorcycle nerds...low and behold there they were...lol. Good ride today even though my heart skipped a beat couple times on M Street!!
Cool bike ride! I still can’t believe I drove some of those streets when my daughter lived in the City. Parts of DC are so beautiful, I miss it
Thanks for the tour through New Kiev, Ukraine!
So very true.
In DC all Ukraine flags no USA or help Maui signs. What does that tell you?
It says in DC we don't feel the need to put on big performances to prove we are patriots. We don't need to deface the flag by plastering it all over every surface - our patriotism speaks for itself. And why would there be Maui signs? Do you have Maui signs wherever you live? There are never signs for any disaster. Biden signed an emergency declaration immediately and sent all of the aid that was authorized by Congress. I'm curious what you think he should have done other than immediately sending all of the aid allowable by law. Did you expect him to do a Trump and interrupt the rescue effort by going there for an idiotic photo op?
Is anything stopping you or any other MAGA from sending money to Maui instead of to Trump to pay for his airplane fuel and his D list lawyers?
Museum of Failures. Do they have an exhibit of the current admin at the front door as the main attraction? If not, they should. Prime example of failure
There is a International World Festival coming up soon on the National Mall. Maybe those brown things are for that festival.
No, they are around the WH not the Mall.
I don’t mean to “one up you” and your own video penguin but I believe that pink house originally belong to John cougar Mellencamp.
Alexander Graham Bell was older than John Mellencamp and lived a long time ago.
Little Pink Houses.....love it
Little pink houses for you and me baby, cleaning up the evening slop!!! Welcome to America!!!!
Mellencamp's pink house was in Bloomington, Indiana. He is from Indiana and has never had a house in DC. Many people own pink houses in many places.
@@loosilu Do you think he was just having a little fun at our expense for those of us that had never heard the song?
I bet if I constructed a few 'like' things and covered them with brown tarps and put a guard rails around them, I'd find out in a hurry...
Love how you just ride right past stop signs like they don't pertain to you.
Why not just stop at the guard shack and ask what is under the brown tarps? I am sure that some one must know.
I have a question about the traffic laws in DC. Are they significantly different than the rest of the country?Every other state I have lived in, bicycles have to follow the traffic laws. I noticed that you ran a lot of stop signs and red lights. You cut off both cars and pedestrians. You rode like you were immune to all laws and rules of physics. Is this normal for DC and is it a symptom of the DC psychosis that makes people in DC believe that rules and laws only apply to other people, and not to those who live or work in DC.
I would not be saying anything about it, but when I traveled to DC, the chaos on the roadways was so bad that I was afraid to drive. I ended up leaving my car at the hotel and paid for taxis, because I was terrified of hitting someone who wasn’t following any of the normal traffic rules that the rest of the country has to follow. Just please think about both your own safety, the safety of others and the example that you as an American and a grown up are setting.
I will now end my Karan rant!
The USSS has a very strict "no comment" policy on almost all security matters.
Once again, thank you for the trip around DC on a bike! You are intrepid! 😃👍🏻🚲
Never accept food from strangers.
