It is tuned high for an 8 string, more like a 7 string with a higher high note instead of a bass string. So it is short 25" scale with 8 string FLOYD ROSE. Oh yeah pickup is a hand custom made QUAD RAIL for a 9 string angled in the middle position by VOODOO pickups USA.
Actually his guitar did exist in the Charvel line around the time ACT III came out. I remember seeing it in a Charvel catalog. Edit: did a little digging and found it; type in Charvel/Jackson catalog 1991, you'll find it in there.

Finally. Been waiting for a production model Dragon for so many years. So happy for Rob and I hope the sales for this are huge. Mildly disappointed that there's only one color option, but beggars can't be choosy. Would love to see a natural Mahogany option or at least black with colored bevels.
*FINALLY.* Thank you Rob and Jackson for making this model of guitar. This is a thirty dream for so many of us and Rob definitely deserves one. Going to have paint those inlays though, I can't see anything in the dark. Death Angel, all members from the beginning to now have all been excellent talents. Death Angel forever!😈

I remember back in 1991 or 1992 going to a music shop near Salt Lake City (I think it was Wagstaff Music) and they actually had a Jackson Death Angel on display. I remember being very surprised they had one as I was a big fan of Rob and Death Angel, really liked those first 3 albums.
i don't like how it sticks out but it's definitely more versatile for holding in different ways than a v or even an x it's not as comfortable sitting down
not as cool as a jackson warrior, death angel, and war angel, kelly/star and RR V. Also MONSON guitars pick any one of dozens of badassery shapes, and Bernie Rico and his dad have some interesting ones, that was bc rich. ibanez Xiphos is cool and the Falchion, and glaive. Balaguer guitars Tartarus their website has awesome easy user friendly customizer program. There is Kevin Frassard's signature model by SAW guitars. Great shape guitars are highly sought and = even less realized. i have designed hundreds of new shapes that have not been made before and they are all aggressive or really cool and jagged looking. There is something about the vibration cycles in a really great shape compared to the rounded early design body shapes that gets crazy and i like it.
Rob has been underrated for far too long. He never disappoints. This is a bad ass guitar. Been a Death Angel fan since early nineties Frolic Through The Park. Good stuff. 👍

I play metal but i dont listen to it in private more than 2 decades...but i always check and buy records from Death Angel and Testament....Rock on Rob...give us another ACT 3...that funky weird shit in front of time...if it stay thrash still i will love it like humanicide and albums before.Brotherly love DA
Can be played in a headstock high position sitting down and standing up, 3-way toggle, interesting choice of pickups with logical reasoning behind it, Floyd rose. This guitar ticks all the boxes for me.
There's only 1 Death Angel and 1 place thrash metal comes from. Back then in SF it would be the scariest, most energized show you could ever see. Never seen anything like it!
Death Angel - The Ultra-Violence is still among my Top 10 Thrash Metal Albums of All-Time. I used to have a poster from Metal Hammer or Kerrang! or some such underground indie mag of Death Angel, Slayer, Testament (Legacy at the time), Exodus and Metallica sitting on a hill in San Francisco circa 1983 with the words "BAY AREA BASHERS" on it, those bands to me are the original Big 4 +1.
Holy Beavis and Buttheads........That is some serious picking skills. And left hand skills. And Right left brain thinking skill. The guitar is cool. The skill is the real "angel" of this video.
