Oh my goodness. When they said a product is a foundation and concealer I didn't realise you had to use a different colour! I thought you just put more product on areas you wanted to conceal! I always learn something from you. Thanks so much! 🎉
I also have very dry skin and sticks don’t always work. As long as you put on a moisturizer right before it goes on great and keeps your skin hydrated all day.
@@maureentakach3065 it will if you apply a lot of it. It is not meant to be full coverage foundation. It’s called the Minimalist so it’s not intended to be applied heavily. But either with concealer it is good if you want a little more in some areas.
I’d avoid it honestly. I love merit but I gave up on the minimalist, it’s cakey and highlights dryness. You will see it sitting in pores. It’s terrible under the eyes - There are more sophisticated products that meld into the skin way better. This stick is fine for oilier skin.

I love these everyday easy makeup looks. I actually use the VB kajal liners also on my mobile lid and blend them out and actually that lasts for me the whole day. In fact, I don‘t use anything underneath prior to applying the eyeliner :-) just still my fave formula

Did you see the three Hourglass palettes they did exclusively with Barney's? They advertised one but came out with two more surprise palettes! They were sold on the New York pop-up but now they're on the regular Hourglass website! Hourglass is bringing the palette options this holiday season! Edit: These palettes are different than the holiday palettes on the inside; it's not just different covers.
Yup I saw them. I think it's too much. 6 palettes in one holiday is too much and I don't like how they recycled the elephant palette then came out with 2 more??
I got the lip set and it’s fantastic. I highly recommend getting the flush balm set to go with it because the 3 shades match the lips so you look perfectly coordinated
The RMS blushes Maidens Blush and Crystal slipper are perfect for travel and the weekend. They look so natural and pretty and I follow your recommendation to use it on the eyelid as well. For lipsticks, I love the Chantecaille lip chics and the Merit satin lip in Millennial, they are both really nice products and easy to apply all day.
Your blush application is just the right amount, don’t listen to any criticism. So many influencers put on SO much blush that they look like clowns or like they’re going to perform Shakespeare in the Park. Your application looks like you glow from within, something that I’d like to learn so keep doing you.👍🏻👏
Ps thanks for teaching using the Hourglass highlighter in the pallet as an all over lid and inner corner shade, that’s a game changer, especially when using the bronzer in the crease.
I think ysl made my lashes look the best. However it is soooooooooooo hard to take it off, i kept losing lashes. I am now using dior overcurl mascara. Very similar to ysl, but u can take it off easier. I didnt try dior brown color mascara
I like hourglass face palette. Still using the one from last year. Otherwise, i would buy evil eye palette. Just ordered sisley paris eyeshadow and face mask and rephr holiday brushes. Next week will be like my early xmas:)
I agree with you on ysl mascara. I tried Shu uemura cleansing oil, Biossance cleansing oil, Elemis cleansing balm, bioderma micellar water, Lancôme eye makeup remover, Biologique Recherche eye makeup remover. Nothing takes it off completely. I started loosing my lashes. They looked horrible. Not to mention that this mascara dries up so quickly. In about max 10 uses it was very dry in consistency and almost impossible to use. I don’t recommend it to anyone ! 🙅♀️🙅♀️🙅♀️
I use the Lancome Bi-Facil eye makeup remover and find that if I soak my cotton pad and hold on my lash line for a quick minute, the YSL will come off with out having to excessively rub my eye area. I hope that helps anyone still wanting to use the mascara 😊

Rudi Berry’s Chocolate Dripped Tubing Mascara that’s sold on Beaubble is super good. I’ve been using it nonstop since March, it’s a brown mascara that’s actually brown and the formula is great.

I just love this series! It always features things I use and love and also helps me narrow down my wishlist. I have been loving both my Dragon and Evil Eye palettes. Definitely my favorite holiday releases. And the Natasha palette is on my wishlist for the upcoming Sephora sale. I will add the Merit Ginger lipstick to that wishlist too. I love all of their products but I can’t find a color match for my light olive skin. Such a bummer! I contacted them and they insist sand will work but it does not, so people don’t be fooled if you have olive skin. Their warm shade are very yellow. So Sofia if you have any pull with merit please tell them to add some olive tones. You look beautiful as always!

Hello Sofia, do you own/ plan to buy Kylie Cosmetics palette? What’s the quality? It is maybe not so much luxury like Chanel or other brands of this league, but I am really of tired of them all and all the time the same colors and the same packaging which they have. In particular I am interested in the palette called Smokey.
Love the YSL mascara, but dang. Can't get it off. Anyone have a magic eye makeup remover suggestion? I have stopped using because afraid my lashes are going to pay a price!
Oh no! I really like oil cleansers that are super emollient so you don't have to rub super hard. My fave ones are by Hada Labo (you can find it on amazon, it's japanese) and the one from Florasis is great too

I just love this series! It always features things I use and love and also helps me narrow down my wishlist. I have been loving both my Dragon and Evil Eye palettes. Definitely my favorite holiday releases. And the Natasha palette is on my wishlist for the upcoming Sephora sale. I will add the Merit Ginger lipstick to that wishlist too. The color looks perfect for me. The Sweed eyeliner looks like a great shade. Can you compare it to VBB Cinnamon and Bronze? Those are two of my favorites.

I love all of their products but I can’t find a color match for my light olive skin. Such a bummer! I contacted them and they insist sand will work but it does not, so people don’t be fooled if you have olive skin. Their warm shade are very yellow. So Sofia if you have any pull with merit please tell them to add some olive tones. You look beautiful as always!

Hello Sofia, do you own/ plan to buy Kylie Cosmetics palette? What’s the quality? It is maybe not so much luxury like Chanel or other brands of this league, but I am really of tired of them all and all the time the same colors and the same packaging which they have. In particular I am interested in the palette called Smokey.

Oh no! I really like oil cleansers that are super emollient so you don't have to rub super hard. My fave ones are by Hada Labo (you can find it on amazon, it's japanese) and the one from Florasis is great too
The nude blush from the Evil Eye Hourglass pallet is so shiny. I can’t really use it. So sad.
If you love the color then put a bit of powder on top and it tones down the shine.

Are you sure it's more product in the Merit foundation? I only believe in grams/ounces. The way it looks doesn't tell you how much is in there.
I saw on their site that they marketed X% more. Not sure it's featured there anymoe since they are drawing focus now to the new shade extension
