Hey Taylor, you should be really proud of yourself, not many young ladies can do all the things you do on the farm. Keep up the good work!!!! The cold is heading your way we just had minus 15 below and minus 35 wind chill in Iowa hard to keep waters going. Take care good luck keeping cows warm.
Looking at your functional leg work operating tractor pedals, reminds me of the days when I too functioned as well, without a single thought! Ah! Those were the days! For me tho' having suffered a serious stroke 4 yrs ago, I have think real seriously about every move I try to make. Not to discourage you, to thank God for your ability to so function!
Another great video. from a beautiful young farm girl . Farming is very satisfying and has a lot of rewards but you show you care deeply for your animals and yes it can be hard at times . great foot work running the tractor . and yes we all call them bags .
Taylor you have a kindness about you that shows when you are taking care of your animals especially when you lost your cow or had to sell one knowing its fate. Sorry about Cora Beth. Never change it’s one of the things that makes you special
Neil jr is a good looking calf. Show us Neil again I don’t remember seeing him in awhile. Also show us the new bull you are raising. Finally, ya’ll were getting a loaner bull I love to see him too.
First I hope you stop getting hurt, we care about you and do not want you getting injured again. I hope Bubblegum is doing great. I really hope and pray your cow with hardware has already found relief. Your little oreo calf with extra white stuffing looks cute; is the mother a good milker he might be a good bull calf. I was always amazed at all of the metal you can find in a cows stomach when you process it. We have had below zero, even 20 plus below zero and it is heading your way so stay safe and warm. Hope you all stay safe and healthy Tay.
Hello bubblegum welcome to sunnydale I know Taylor and Brent will take good care of you. Thanks for taking the time explaining the cow condition keep us updated take care.
What a beautiful new baby I hope ya'll start getting some heifers like him. Stay warm and thank you for sharing this youngin!👍👍👍🙋♂️🙋♂️🙏🙏🙏🐃. Everyone in Northeast Arkansas says hey Taylor and Brent especially Miriam 😁😁
Hi Taylor, framing the good the bad and the ugly all rolled into one, sorry to hear about the old cow it’s to bad she didn’t get pregnant but at 20 she’s had a good life and good care
Hi Taylor and Brent and girls just finished watching video it’s was awesome and I enjoyed you explaining everything and as always you Brent girls be safe 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
I truly don't have much time to watch lengthy videos throughout the week but you are simply too cute not to follow. I love your passion and dedication for the farm and farmer you are working for. You're an inspiration to many. Thanks for sharing
Good morning sweetie, another great video😊 It was pretty funny watching your little short legs work in the clutch and break and throttle pedal on the tractor.😂 think you need to put some blocks on them pedals for you lol that’s definitely a cute little bull calf. So far this month we’ve only had two days above freezing. We’ve been zero or below a lot of nights lately days only been in the teens and around 20. I think we got a couple days coming up that might be 32 but then back to cold again, but it is winter I guess lol I hope that cow gets through this and heals up just fine 🙏🏻Please stay warm and safe up there.🤗
Hey Taylor. The care and concern you have for your girls is awesome and something not seen on any other videos. On that that same note it will be sad for you and Brent to part with one of your cows. Since cattle prices are so high you have to take care of what you have. You seemed excited when you were talking about the birth of that belted calf, almost like a little girl at Christmas. (LOL). Taylor , I could watch you talk all day. Thanks for another great video. 🚜🐄🍩☕️
Pretty bull calf Taylor! And we call them bags too so you ain’t wrong in my eyes lol. I agree, I like the feet cam too…cool to see them work the pedals in a tractor or equipment. Y’all stay warm and take care!
Hello Taylor,Brent enjoyed your video. Yes its sad when they eat something that harms them. Udder, bag think most would say there bag we do also. Have a great day.
Hey Taylor that snow can be a pain in the a?? I'm just an old southern boy we just got about 7 inchs of snow three days ago its just now starting to melt thank God for that But I'm glad for your new cows hope every thing works out for you and Brent up there God Bless From Reddell Louisiana 🤠
Taylor - Congrats on the Bull calf, too bad can’t keep him. I am beginning to understand why it is so difficult to be a farmer, so many things can happen, especially when you get attached to the cows as you do and then the sad reality comes in and you just may lose two. I really do pray that the one cow gets better. Also, I hope that y’all can get replacements for them and it wont cost an arm and a leg. Oh and bag or udder call it what you want Taylor, don’t change just because someone pesters you about it on YT. 😊
Hi Taylor another awsome video. I was wondering are you and your family going to be tapping trees this year would like to see some of it if that would be possible. Stay safe and warm
Hi Taylor ,I love your knowledge ! as an farmer of many years including now we know as sad as it is we can't save ever cow or calf. that lil bull is as cute as a button :) and cleaning in frigged weather is always a challenge . keep on keeping on!
The new calf is very handsome! Congrats on getting a new cow! Hearing about the 20 yo cow and the one with hardware is tough. Hope all works out satisfactorily!
Thank you, it’s a tough business but we always have to do our best to give these cows the best care we can. In the end it’s all out of our hands. Have a wonderful evening! Give George a pet from me!
@@tayfarms Decisions that affect or may affect the end of life are the hardest to make. To say George is spoiled would be making a gross understatement! lol Stay safe and warm!
I love these videos! Thanks for sharing. I have a random question. Are chores done in the evening regarding the cows? And if so, what are they? Thank you!
Cows and humans seem to like following simple routines. It keeps the cows happy and the farmer busy imputing into the cows milking cycles. It's all in a days work repeated endlessly as life inches away. Man with his beast.
It’s exciting to get new calves and then there’s the other end of that, when it’s time to say goodbye to cows that don’t produce enough or can’t reproduce 😢. The tractor sounds like it was low on power steering fluid or hydraulic fluid from the noise it was making. Some people get really upset when things are mentioned to try and improve things but here goes. The door needs put back on the free stall barn. With the winds it makes it a wind tunnel and the cows will do better in the winter staying warm, In the summer, you can put the gate back up for air flow/ cooling. Good luck with the new cow and hopefully the sick cow gets better.
I worked in a package handling facility. Boxes broke everyday. I found some cow magnets and told thecity boys I worked with what they were, of course they thought I was crazy. told them to look it up. Then they shut up from calling me crazy. Sorry you will lose the old cow but WOW that is old for a cow. God bless you and Brent I pray for you everyday.
Wisconsin here, we have been at - 20 to -30° week +. I dont mind the cold. It just makes for an extra hour of chores, morn & night. Just hut a Livestock Auction today. Plenty of beautiful cows for the picking. Good think i didn't bring my trailer, id been coming home with 3 😂
We used to call the udder a "bag" when I was a kid. We lived out west, but were of midwest terminology. That was common term in the area. Cows can really jump. There was a woman in England that was on the news back in the 80's I think. Said cows were good jumpers and would even put a saddle on one. I've seen one or our milking shorthorn/hereford cross almost fully grown heiffer go up a steep 5' bank with a short ledge at the top and then jump over a full sized barbed wire fence going up a slight incline again and clearing the fence. She wasn' milking, but it was impressive and luckily she ended up getting back in to the field she was supposed to be in..
Another great visit. Brent must be wondering if he's going to get the heard ahead with cow issues. Dairy farmers are pinnacle of farming like commercial pilots are tops in flying
things sound loud on the video too, maybe the muffler has bad baffles in it that rattle? what is the handle on the steering colum? would you still BUT a Kubbota if you had to get another tractor?
With the Kubota shuttle shift you do not have to use the clutch when going from forward to reverse or reverse to forward, just reduce fuel a little. Nice video. God Bless
Hey Taylor, rough vet visit. I guess that's the farming business. Hope the young one moves out the hardware. Such a rotten thing to have happen. Thanks Tay for the video.
In Kentucky we say bag too! Just be yourself, that’s what makes you so beautiful
That’s so kind, thank you!
I grew up in the Blue Ridge Mts of Virginia and I say bag also.

The new cow looks like a nice one. Congrats on your first Dutch belted bull calf. It was good to hear Brent's nieces get involved with chore time.
Thank you!! They come over and help out from time to time and it’s a joy to see the next generation interested in farming 😊
Taylor you have a kindness about you that shows when you are taking care of your animals especially when you lost your cow or had to sell one knowing its fate. Sorry about Cora Beth. Never change it’s one of the things that makes you special
I was raised on a dairy farm your video brings back awesome memories keep up the good work
sold out a few years back now it's a major organic pasture-grazed farm Dryden New York. keep going. Enjoy your trade
We lived in Dryden NY when we first got out of the Navy in 1979. Remember it well
You are an amazing, beautiful lady😊
Great video Taylor. Hopefully good news and cow recovers 🤞. Enjoyed watching. 👍🏼👍🏼
hi Taylor, today's video was absolutely spot on, it's like all the things that are always on your mind as a dairy farmer...

Tks Taylor, good luck with cows
Winter time we learn more in the videos about the cows when not out in the fields. Learning about dairy cows is so interesting. That is new to me.
It's definitely a slower pace in the winter, and we get to focus on different things, glad you're enjoying it! 😄
Another great video. Thank you for sharing ! Stay warm, its been negative 12 in the mornings here in New York state .I am sorry about your x2 cows .

Too bad you can't keep Neil Jr, he is a great looking calf!! Love your videos, just a nice break from politics!!
Good show. Stay warm.
Thanks, I sure will!😊
Good morning Taylor, the outlook was positive.
If I was a farm inspector I would rate your farm a 10 on 10!
So kind!
Cows and humans seem to like following simple routines. It keeps the cows happy and the farmer busy imputing into the cows milking cycles. It's all in a days work repeated endlessly as life inches away. Man with his beast.
Sad to hear Taylor how many cows of each breed do You have and how old is the lineback 😊
It’s exciting to get new calves and then there’s the other end of that, when it’s time to say goodbye to cows that don’t produce enough or can’t reproduce 😢. A lot of interesting information great video
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it!
Good for you both
Oh, the pinching the back thing. I sold my milk cows 22 years ago and I forgot about that. I used 'bag' too. it's all good.
I worked in a package handling facility. Boxes broke everyday. I found some cow magnets
and told thecity boys I worked with what they were, of course they thought I was crazy.
told them to look it up. Then they shut up from calling me crazy.
Sorry you will lose the old cow but WOW that is old for a cow. God bless you and Brent
I pray for you everyday.
That want i always heard was bag instead of uder
Love to hear you talking about milk fever, Bag or vessel here in Scotland. Love your videos.
Awesome! Thank you!
The term 'bag' has been handed down from generation to generation of dairy husbandry.
Greetings from New Mexico,I'm so impressed by your day's.#girlsarockstar

How do you deal with the flys???
here in the UK we have an old rhyme
"Mackerel sky, Mackerel sky
never long wet,
never long dry"
So I guess you are in for some changeable weather
Really enjoyed your video
Love your hat
Thanks!😊

I call them bags also. If you put the tail straight up in the air and hold it there it takes the back legs out of gear.
Another great visit. Brent must be wondering if he's going to get the heard ahead with cow issues. Dairy farmers are pinnacle of farming like commercial pilots are tops in flying
Great video sad to hear the news about your cows but that’s the way farming goes!!
It's definitely a part of farming we don't like to think about, thanks so much for watching 🙂

Sounds like a tiny home behind the workshop could be great for you in the future, great investment

Hi! They are beautiful, so cool!

You’re absolutely correct, I’ve just always done it because it seems hard on the tractor to shift like that☺️

Yes some years back we covered our corn with them
