- This is a video describing how to assemble my 3D printed alto trombone pitched in F and demonstrating how it sounds.

I am an engineering graduate from Valparaiso University where I had access to the 3D modeling software (Solidworks) and 3D printers that I used for this project.
This sounds way better than I thought it would tbh
honestly this would be a great idea for people who cant afford great trombones
This is really impressive! Once I find a 3d printer I can use, I'd love to try it out. It has good tone quality for being so portable!
Nicely done. It sounds so good, considering it's layers of plastic. The way the parts fit together and lock is really clever!
That's awesome man! Good job! I have an actual brass alto in F. They are rare and they do sound a bit trumpetty, mostly because the bell is small, and the cylindrical nature of the instrument. If your bell was an inch larger and thereby the bell flare was a bit more conical, it would mellow it considerably. A Schilke 40 or 42B is the smallest small shank tenor mouthpiece in production. How is the intonation?
I think it sounds really good
Totally Amazing Well Done !!
Bro dam, that sounds pretty good.
I like that the bell model looks like a Monette (best trumpets in the world)
Thank you!
like the final tune. need to 3d print in fluoro pla for that, really
NICE!
Showww sucesso vc é espetacular imprimir um pra mim fuciona bem , consegue um trompete porque ate agora nao tem nem um trompete 3D no yotube que fucione tao bem como o seu trombone
Cool
This is sick! Could you make a contrabass in BBb? Like a double slide?
whaaaat?! that is so cool xD
But how do you tune it
can u please make a soprano trombone!!
What kind of material should it be made of?
Any advice on how I might model and build a tuba?
