    Another good demo Sarah.
    After first cut I could imagine someone putting two wee dots for eyes of a winged bat.
    Always good to hear the scrubbies getting the praise they deserve.
    Nice handled shallow bowl.
    Cheers...Freddie

    Hey Sarah?it might be nice if you filmed the clay class, once in a while. Maybe the students would like it too? Our clay class starts in september again, so it's still a while before we can handle some clay.? I like the handles by the way.

    I’m in upstate New York, where it’s been really hot & humid, and now we have some refreshing thunderstorms.
    Those vinyl leaves are beautiful & delicate!
    Glandderwen is Welsh for “Oakside” or “Oakshore”. It loses in translation!

    Isn't it easier to apply slip after handle attachment? I would have smoothened the handle out on the front too, great idea and will give it a bash!

    Loved this video. The handles add such a lovely touch...and the vinyl leaf stickers really do make this dish very special. If the stickers become available would the be able to be shipped to the US?

    • @thepotterycorner

      Hi Pat. I'm trying to get Karen to sort some stickers onto her Etsy shop and, yes, I'm sure she would ship to the States. Watch this space! Thanks for watching 😁

    Hi quick question, does the pigment have to be hire fire in the slip? Admittedly I don't have access to a kiln so plan to take my first lot of makes in earthenware to bisque level for practice before travelling to one I can use (40mins) away and do not have the outdoor space for a garden one.

    • @thepotterycorner
      @thepotterycorner  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hiya and thanks for watching. If firing to stoneware temperature on stoneware clay then the pigments need to be high fire. If they are low fire pigments in a high fire kiln the colours will burn out. Hope that helps 😊

    Forgot to ask if that green scrubby is wet or dry?

    • @thepotterycorner
      @thepotterycorner  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Gigi- the scrubby is always dry - the more lacey the better!😄
