I wouldn't give her money, either. She shouldn't have lied about why she was taking the car and expecting someone to bail her out of a problem that could have easily been avoided.
So....let me get this straight; the car got impounded and she's afraid to tell her mom. I'm going to guess it's because the mom would be mad she'll have to pay. Her solution to this was to wait so the bill will higher....Brilliant strategy there.

Is it just me or did anyone else get the feeling she was hoping Steve would give her the money to pay the fees to get the car back? Steve don't mind helping people, but she lied to her parents, went out partying and getting drink. She didn't drive drink from her friend's house, but she drove from downtown back to the friends house! She still drive drink--she just didn't want her parents tho know. Now it's been over a week! Instead of telling her parents, she's just letting the fees rack up day after day! Steve is not about to bailher out of that foolishness! She's gonna suffer the consequences. She's lucky it's only @ $300 so far and it's been a week. Where I live, it's $150 the day it's towed and $100 per day for every day that it's on their lot. If she lived here, after 1 week, she'd need to pay at least $750 (plus the initial tow tax) to get that car back! How old is she? I bet she watched this clip and regretted going on national tv and saying that. She lied to hey parents then didn't care about running up the fee bill even higher (with daily fees) by not telling them. If I was an employee and saw this, I would not rush to hire her.! Is hire the next person that's just as qualified, maybe they would have some integrity. I hope het parents were able to get the car back--and didn't give it back to her!
