I traded in my 2007 Tittan for a 2015 chevy silverado.
I kindda miss my titan now..
Are they good trucks?
yes. they're reliable ..
I have an 04 Titan with chrome off road rims and every where I go people tell me “nice truck what year is it a 2015” and they get surprised when I say 04 and they say it looks like it’s new 😂
No such thing as chrome off road wheels.

my titan has 15368 miles on it, it sits in the garage and thats it for right know,. i put $40 in and its gone in about 6 hrs of driving around in the city, its a 2006 and is better than new and i also think they are still the best looking trucks on the market right know including the new dodge:)
You wanna sell it or better yet I just need to buy the rear axle
My 2005 Titan se 4x4 crew cab has 242k on it and still going strong
all i can say is that my 2006 titan is perfect for me, and my 97 geo that i bought for 3000.00 in 97 still runs as new, cant think of anything derogatory about the titan, very well made, i dont have to worry about reliability, you can hardly hear the motor at idle, pretty nice!!
I own a 2005 Titan and I've been very happy with it, this tested truck is a long bed, the standard bed is much easier to park although still big will fit into most spots.
This first generation of Titan from 2003-2015 (with a facelift in 2008) by Nissan competes with Toyota Tundra, Chevrolet Silverado, GMC Sierra, Ford F-150 and Dodge Ram.

Its actually a great truck, my dad drove it before he got the F-150 and rides pretty smooth and does a lot of the work you might need for a truck.
Nissan titan's are my favorite truck!

They missed the weighted tailgate-you can pull the handle and let go and the tailgate will smoothly go down without slamming. Such a nice feature.
And parking it is not hard at all. At 16 I could back mine into the garage no problem.
I have an '08 4X4 Crew cab. It rides great and has tons of room inside. Yes, gas mileage sucks but it's a truck; what do you expect? Gets better mieage than my Dodge did. I've test driven several other brands but I'm quite happy with my descision. Great truck that I will enjoy for a long time.
such a very nice truck. Titan is like a blend of the Terrano and Navara (South america's nissan models).
Hmmm.. Well nice to know that... I rightfully assume that Ford trucks are the best since most ppl have been praising ford for truck performance and durability. Moreover, it was the truck of choice in the Philippines during my days there. Right now i'm driving my dad's Nissan Frontier, it was the only truck that i've driven so far though so I can say I'm a nissan lover.
Titan is just a beast name.....Ram Silverado F-150 names arent cool compared to TUNDRA and TITAN

@Minimonster06 I AGREE. I HAVE A BLACK TITAN LOADED WITH CHROME TRIM. THE ONLY OTHER TRUCK I WOULD POSSIBLY CONSIDER OWNING WOULD BE A TUNDRA. YOU COULDN'T PAY ME TO DRIVE A FORD, GMC, OR A DODGE TRUCK, DESPITE ALL 3 HAVE FILED FOR BANKRUPTCY.
Where did you get your information? I'm not saying your lying but I just want to confirm. 2nd Tundra has been out longer has a stronger name than not only Titan but Toyota has a bigger name than Nissan. Though Nissan will have a following with this truck it's by far the sexiest truck on the market and hey this 5.6 is a kick ass engine
Its not being shut down yet, the 2010 is a go, and Nissan may redesign the truck itself after the Dodge deal fell through.

just bought a 2010 titan and love it price was lower than anyone else.
I will admit that the Titan is an amazing truck, but in all honesty, I think Ford will have the truck game beat for many many years to come. Nissan cannot even come close to the 21 mpg F-150. But I must say, I sure do love my Titan, even though it's a gas hog.
I've only driven then Tundra , F-150, Silverado and Ram, but I honestly couldn't find anything that made the Titan better or worse of a truck. yet, i do like the Chevy setup interior wise over Nissan. Yet, in all th ebetter truck you are stating is shutting down this year supposedly so I don't know man

wow badass truck i got a 2010 nissan titan le fully loaded and its a nice truck i always keep it clean like if it just got bought from the show room and i always get compliments about it i was gona get me a new tundra but tundra suck titan is way better in every way!!!!

The Titans a good truck, although its getting a little dated. My uncle works at the plant where they make them in Mississipi.
i looked a the dodge but here it was way more than the titan,im not planning on towing anything so that never fiqured into my decison
@michaelak47 i dont know where you see that american trucks are cheaper than foreign made. im looking at the titan BECAUSE its cheaper than the rest.
@mikelove2110 correction the reg cab has 325hp cause thats the 5.3 liter which is the most common engine and it has 350tq but i have the 6.0 v max myself which still owns the titan lol but thats all i will say
@migetman2805 I never said I would get a titan over a Ram F-150 or Silverado. I just said it has a great name
It seems thats the Titan has the exterior and interior looks, and is a family friendly truck... I not really sure how good the titan can square up against the more reputable truck monster the F150.
@mikelove2110 No its not heavy duty starting on 2007 you can get a 4.6,4.8,5.3,6.0 vmax, and the 6.2 liter in the regular 1500 silverado and i got the 6.0 vmax win

this truck was not in the top 10 bestselling cars of 09-10 and as a result the titan line is being shut down
I'm shopping for trucks and the Nissan along with the Dodge are much cheaper than everything else!

hell yeah i got a 2000 blazer s10 shit fuel economy but incredible 4 wheel drive capability and there is no equal in the snow i wish i had the z71 off road suspension but i dont

question for anyone with titan, i have a 2006 le 4-door crew, i have had the rear seal replaced twice under warranty, has anyone else had this problem, mine has 11888 miles on it, is it because it sits or is it just not sealing correctly!

the only thing bad i have to say about this truck is that the AC sucks.! but other than that this titan is clean
my chevy silverado 1973 has 500k miles barley broke the transmission
@atgskater14 Hey its all good. I just bought the a 2010 Silverado 1500. It has the 5.3 ltr with the 3.42 axle ratio. so 9600lbs towing capacity. Its not a hybrid but like all the new ones its a flex fuel. I love it. best vehicle I have ever sat in. there is only one thing i really like the titan for. thats the lift handle on the drivers side. i have a bad leg and it helps getting in. the Chevy dosn't. oh well i will still take chevy over everything else. BOWTIE BUDDY!!!

My Ford F150 caught on Fire. How come the Ford's keep catching on fire?
my 95 straight 6 f150 can pull a 5600 lb bobcat on a 2300 lb trailer with the bed full of scrap metal no problem. Once I accidently let the guy at the concrete recycling place load 8000 lb of gravel in my 2600 lb dump trailer, and the truck was able to pull that. I would take an old american straight 6 over these new V8 any day of the week. And WTF is up with them putting pussy ass aluminum heads on these big v8's?
