Sarah has been following the Facebook group of a pallet liquidator in our area who buys truckloads of Walmart, Target, and Amazon returns and then sells them by the pallet to resellers. Since we love flipping furniture we thought it would be a unique opportunity for us.
Reselling Amazon returns can be a great side hustle if you know how to list, sell, and ship items on eBay and Facebook. We have learned a lot through experience and hope you find these videos helpful and informative! So happy yall didn’t quit the pallet game. Not only is it entertaining to watch as y’all open the pallets but super informative on what’s inside & how you can make extra money with a lil hustle. I also really enjoy going to your Whatnot shows. I wish I would’ve had that opportunity when I was a single mom trying to make enough money to support my children. Unfortunately I’m disabled & older so the pallets aren’t something I can do. If I could physically do it I’d be all over that hustle.

Oh my goodness! Fun fact, the place you guys got the pallet from used to be a brewery/ bowling alley and I used to work there! I haven't seen what they did with the back where the bowling alley used to be, so that was a surprise to see the inside of the bowling alley after 2 years since it shut down!

do you recommend getting pallets that have bagged instead of boxed items? there is a seller near me who has large mixed pallets with 300-400 items some boxed and some bagged with upc labels. i know you have spoken about all the small items vs big items but i am having trouble finding the bigger amazon pallets with only boxes

Broken items before to throw it out if it’s high value item broken screen ect watch a TH-cam video on how to fix it and look up the part needed 15 dollar part and 30 minutes of your time could repair a broken item for you…… great vids by the way

Yes! Donate-able items are donated and broken items are disposed of 👍

What do you do with broken or used stuff?
Used stuff can sometimes still be sold for a steep discount. Otherwise they are donated. Broken items are disposed of.
I would think whoever runs the place would take whatever is actually of value and put the scraps in these pallets .. I’m afraid to try

We’ve had some teaser 75 degree days, but it’s in the 50s right now on average 🥶

What do you all do with the stuff that you can’t sell like the Ninja blender.
It is either donated if it can be used or trashed if completely broken.
Do you scrap some of the stuff that is not appropriate for re-sell?
Yes we donate the items if they are in working condition or trash/recycle them if broken. 👍
On broken stuff, contact the company directly, many times they will make it good.
I have a question 😆 if you had to guess what percent of the items you buy from palettes do you end up donating or throwing away?
Good question! It’s around 20-25% that are broken/unsellable
Can you sell any of the broken stuff for parts that are not broken
I have just gotten into buying pallets and I have found it's not worth the time or space. The big thing with pallets is you need to space to store the stuff you are selling and broken items tend to take up space that could be dedicated to "good" items. Couple that with extremely low return (unless it's a very high dollar item) and it's not usually worth the time.
