Frans Bauer is another dutch singer. Actually he and O'Gene are originally both from a small town called Fijnaart in the South of the Netherlands.
Frans lost his dad recently and this song means a lot to him. Like his dad did.
The show is called "Hoge bomen" after the host (and also singer) Jeroen vd Boom. The format is that they look at someones career and life through conversations and music.

The programme is called Hoge Bomen (High Trees) hosted by singer Jeroen van de Boom. You should definitely see also Dutch Jett Rebel on TH-cam (Matthijs gaat door) with his version of this beautiful Elvis Presley song. Being a Dutch Indonesian myself I love the Indo girls of Ogene very much for their singing qualities and what they represent 👍👍

Obviously it's a tribute to Frans Bauer. A famous Dutch singer who sings in Dutch. Not really my style of music but Frans seems to be a very kind person in real life and makes a lot of people who are more in this type of music happy so all the best to him. Of course the sisters are beautiful and wonderful as always.
