@@HahnsAtelier Limited only by your imagination and 3D building skills (which are killer, BTW) I use my 3D printer to print stamps for a ceramics maker friend of mine. She creates custom logo mugs for organizations. I create the stamps on my Lulzbot Mini and she uses them on stoneware clay. Works perfectly.

This is SO cool! I have a 64G 3rd Gen that’s been in the glove box of my car since I got my first iPhone back in 2008). It’s been playing almost all the music I listen to while driving for 13 years! Unfortunately I can’t try this with it because I’m sure it heats up too much as it is, but making the ring with the 3-D printer is a great idea I’ll use once I get one so, thanks again, bro!!
It was the newest machine at the time and is now a product of old memories. I'm happy that this video is an inspiration! Enjoy your work!

Mr. Hahns! I love your work! I have 1 question, preety please! I'm using chrome tanned leather instead of vegged tanned for these kinds of projects (the one in the video), including car key fob, and they don't look so good, like yours, because the leather stretches. What leather would your recommend? Vegged? I see you use buffalo leather.
Leather should have a slightly stiffen enough, not too soft. Chrome tanned leather usually not suitable for this project . The leather I used is buttero, dakota. It's working on my experience. When you use soft veg tanned leather, put a lining on the inside will helped to make it harder. I recommend test first with small pieces, in advance before wet molding work.

Do iPod touch 2 have bluetooth already? Shouldn't you leave a little hole for the headphone jack? (If you ever plan to listen to music on this again)

Thank you for your opinion! I made this pouch for storage. If I want to carry it around and listen to music or charge it, I'll have to make a hole. But I just wanted to make a case. Also I think it's similar to cooking when cutting corners as you said.

@@HahnsAtelier I started with an easy project. I bought an antique leather case for a camera but the stitches where all gone and the leather was dry. So I treated it and stitched it back together. I didn't have to cut or shape the leather yet but it was nice to learn some basic things.
So you restore the case? I think it was harder than it sounds. Awesome!

아니요, 꼭 모델링을 배우시거나 3D프린터로 하지 않으셔도 됩니다. 틀은 나무로 만들기도 하고, ABS나 독고가죽으로 만들기도 합니다. 관심이 있으시다면 시중에 파는 물성형틀을 구입하셔서 체험해보시는것도 도움이 되실 것 같습니다.

I always have questions after watching a video of yours! Is this something you consider easy? What's something complicated to make with leather? How long does it take to complete something complicated? What made you get into leather working? I want to make something for my husband like a cover for his Xbox one controller. How would I go about sourcing the materials and the tools to make said cover?
Leather crafting becomes infinitely difficult if you make it difficult, and infinitely easy if you make it easy. Make the easy things first and make the harder one later. I think making Xbox cover is a good start. Buy basic leather craft tools. Search for the Leathercraft Beginner Tool Set on Amazon. That should help.

Hey dude which cad software did you use in this video as I wouldn’t like to learn how to design products etc on cad
Now, you'll use it? xD I had a classic one that died after 5 years, then got another classic (the 160Gb one) and it's still going strong. All I had to do was to buy a Bluetooth sender/receiver that I plug on the 3.5mm headphone's jack so I can use wireless headphones.

i was literally thinking "uh, why is he putting a leather cover on the button? those always fall off". and then he removed it :D
There are cases where I put the cover on as needed, but this time I removed it off because it doesn't look good.

It is much easier If you have a nice corner cutter. But I don't so I have to practice.
