HI I can not make a strum with the Ample Martin Plugin. like you do in the videos with the Ample Taylor Plugin . I mean the Manuel strumming like in this video you posted. th-cam.com/video/oaHJrLq0P7M/w-d-xo.html Is this a feature with the Taylor version only? Thanks for any help !
WOW, thanks Ruben wouldn't even know there was an update without this. I think the changes will really help those of us that struggle to play the keyboard, at least from what I can see. Thanks again!
I agree! These days, now that so many VSTis are way more expensive than the average DAW, Ample products appear really priceworthy, especially considering their quantity/bundle prices and state of the art high quality products that they are.
Hey, thanks for the video. : ) I've always struggled to reproduce what I here in Riffer with what I hear in Cubase after dragging the midi in, so I'm looking forward to testing the update. Kind regards, Darren (Wales, UK).
Nice! I’m looking for them to be able to be controlled with an MPE controller. That way they can have independent pitch bends per string when played live. Orange tree samples does this well! It’d be nice to have that capability with my ample sound libraries.
Their owner and team are from China and speak little English. We’ve developed a strong friendship over the years and I told them I would post this video.
This is awesome! Thank you for sharing Ruben. I am still learning the midi rule book. Does this update affect midi playback? I have Riffler by Jon Bell for iOS (PC/Mac version coming soon!), which creates midi guitar riffs and patterns. When I drop its midi data into an Ample track there is a great deal of midi editing to make a useable guitar pattern. The Holy Grail for us non players/musicians, is to have a AI tool like Riffler with drag and drop (or midi streaming) into a guitar VST. This would require the developers to coordinate their efforts. Although I have not fully dove into Riffer from Ample, while it can be very intricate and detailed, the pattern generation is lacking.
Amazing update! I really love what Ample is doing. I noticed that AGSC says I don't have the latest version though. I reinstalled 3.7 like 5 times. A visual bug maybe?
Really good update. Do you tipically use ample sound guitars im keyboard mode or instrument mode? Also, which one would you recommend for someone who doesn't play guitar? Keep up with the great work. Your videos are very inspiring.
I never ever use keyboard mode. Instrument mode will give you the most realistic playback and will force you to think like a guitarist as much as possible.
@@hifimidi Got you! Thanks alot for taking the time to reply. I don't know if Ample Sound would allow you to do that but i would love if you could create some modern and old school r&b and pop presets and release them to yours viewers. If you could also take the time to make some r&b tutorials it would be great as there are not many people are skilled and knowledgeable as you making those. I am sure many of us would enjoy that.
sliding multiple notes and landing on different intervals sounds to me like they are moving closer to supporting MPE. Do you think that’s the case? Which ever guitar VST is first to provide full MPE support will get my support (in the form of purchasing all their MPE products).
Do you ever have a problem with the frets randomly changing once you hit a certain note on the piano roll? do you know how to prevent that or choose a certain fret
Maybe the updates are useless to you, but to many professionals, they’re great. Why complain about a free major update? Also, the samples are pristine as perfect as you can make them.
@@hifimidi Don't get me wrong, all i'm trying to say is that the plugin was fine since its first release, feature and ui wise. But what would really put this to the next level are the samples them selves. There was always something off about them. It needs more articulation customization options like shreddage but in a more sensible style.
@@alyctro8158Ample Sound guitars would definitely benefit from new articulations like tremolo, missed notes, brush strokes, etc… but those would still not mean much if the engine itself doesn’t allow for user-friendly programming. Shreddage 3 line of instruments samples are great, but the engine suffers from horrible user-friendliness, so it’s difficult to get great results.
@@hifimidi Now we're on the same page. Exactly, tremolo picking is near impossible due to there not being a sampled articulation. And doing it manually is impossible because there are not enough velocity layers hence my initial critique. It does not sound absolutely bad but there is something off about the samples i can't describe. They sound harsh and sometimes out of tune. Which is what would happen on a real guitar but not to such an extreme extent. It would be best to show you what i mean. Many things should've been done long ago. And increasing the sample pool is just the start.
@@alyctro8158 I've been begging Ample Sound for tremolo for a while now. They have it on their Pipa and Zheng, and it's one of the most natural sound tremolos I've ever heard on a VI. Plus, they have tremolo legato and it is seamless. They surely can add it, but it would require completely fresh scripting of their current guitars.
Mistake: at 1:50, I meant to say that in the previous version, it would play it back in parallel after dragging to your track.

Thanks for the heads-up Ruben.
You are always on the case, much appreciated !!

So exciting thank you so much! I had no idea there was an update. Thanks to your videos I own 6 ample guitars. Can't wait to update them!
Thanks for this excellent video. I'm now 3.7 ready.
This is AWESOME. I love Ample Sound products. Yey!!
A brilliant upgrade that other considerably less scrupulous companies would have charged for. Kudos to Ample Sound.

Ample Sound is the best guitar plugin in the market..Totally different level.
Agreed!
I use kontakt but it’s good too
Thanks for the excellent update. Really appreciate your guidance.
Dude thanks so much for the info! I had no idea there was an update. I own one of these already. Gonna update thanks!
Adding the next chord into riffer is a huge upgrade!
Ive even used riffer to create MIDI sequences for other instruments. It works great.
As always, great stuff and right on time, Ruben! Mark (owner of ALL your courses)
Ruben, you are the best man!!❤

Going to be buying AGM this week. Seems like alot to learn.
Thanks for the info. I'm new to Ample Sound and have some of their China series instruments. Looking to get their AGL before the summer sale ends.
Great video!! why doesn't ample post update and tutorials on their own page as welll?

@@hifimidi that’s so cool! Thanks for posting
thx for this reminder🎉
Thank you!!!

Hi. Nice video. have they made more strum examples to add to the Riffer and Strummer libraries? Thanks
Good one!
Hi Ruben, thanks as always ,-) Any need to reinstall the libraries in addition or only the plugin-updates?

Maybe… did you restart the computer?

That’s what I’m wondering.✌🏾Orange tree samples incorporates MPE capabilities very well. Ample sound libraries would be nice to control that way too.
Hi! can you do a tutorial about strumming patterns with this vst please?
Kool
cool, I'm looking at AI vocal programs now, what about you ?
Great content, voice audio is a bit wooly just FYI
Ruben ¿Podrías recomendarme un tutorial completo sobre cómo usar el riffer?
How do you get the piano keyboard to show? I have sort of blacked out keyboard with some colors.
I can only choose one, TC or SC? Which would u choose?
Hy mate ✌️can you tell me how do i get a DI signal from my metal eclipse ample guitar? Thanks a lot 😊
Do you ever have a problem with the frets randomly changing once you hit a certain note on the piano roll? do you know how to prevent that or choose a certain fret
Do the libraries also need to be re-downloaded when updating?
No, just the plug-in.
Can we change tunings of guitar, say 1 step or 2 step down or alternate open tunnings?
You can lower each string by up to two semi-tones.
how to disable change the sound \ mode when you play on the keyboard in the 6th octave? ( for any guitar from the ample guitar )
Hi I downloaded AG Taylor but its saying "Loading samples failed. Plug-in will not make sound." Can you please tell me what to do?
how do u use ample guitar with sclaer 2 or instacomposer?
Can I drag midi into the plug-in
Does this update have any relevance to the free versions?
Unfortunately, the free version has not been updated. I’m not sure what’s going to happen with it.
What a bunch of useless updates. The plugin needs improvements in the sound it self, and then anything else.
