It was so disheartening to hear them ridiculing flakey skin and attributing it to people not taking care of their skin. I put sooooo much work on my skin in order for it do look partly decent and to hear them be so flippant about flaky skin was disappointing, not to mention unprofessional.

I get really really dry skin & flakes but she made me laugh my ass off!! In my opinion she wasnt being mean. She was being silly. This woman is giving a tutorial and doesn't even know the technical words if her field. And the chewing gum... wow! So unprofessional! I just imagine this one being my make up artist and doing gum bubbles while applying fundation.
She is with me in my home casually filming a video, not on-site with a client. She’s allowed to chew gum. She’s been an amazing artist for years now and is nothing but professional which shows as she has a wildly successful business that she started from the ground up where her clients do nothing but rave about her. Take your dramatics down a notch please.

agree. if you don't know what the parts of your air BRUSH are, that's pretty sad. (trigger, bowl, nozzle, handle.) Then "machine" is actually an air compressor. and the shade chosen is wrong, not to mention you can see how splotchy the application is in the video. It is not a casual thing to film a youtube video and if you want to be seen as a professional you should act as a professional.
I thought it was a bit rude to mock 'flakey flakers' and actually haven't watched past that part. My dad has severe eczema that he's very embarrassed and ashamed of, and it's because of insensitive comments like these. I imagine being an artist and having to deal with flakey skin is pretty grim, and I get that, but I think it was a bit rude to act so disgusted in a public TH-cam video. You don't know who is watching or what skin conditions they may have (eg. Psoriasis, dermatitis etc.) and that was mean. Julia needed a moisturizing sunscreen, and a porcelain lose power. If she does have pimples they weren't noticeable. That little spray of base didn't change anything noticable.

THEN THE COLOR FOR FOUNDATION OF MY SKIN COLOR JUST A FEW DROPS THEN I PUT IN A COUPLE OF DROPS OF A BLUSH COLOR WHICH COMES IN TWO COLORS. I USED THE LIGHTER ONE. THE THERE IS A BRONZER IF LIKE TO USE. IT PUTS A GOLD SHINE I DID NOT USE IT. I STAYED ABOUT FOUR TO FIVE INCHES AWAY. I DID IT MY FIRST TRY AND I WENT OUT SIDE TO ASK MY HUSBAND DOES EVERYTHIBG BLEND HE SAID YES THEN I LOOKED IN THE MIRROR OF THE CAR. I THOUGHT MYSELF YA IT BLEND OK. IF YOU DO THE STEPS AND STAY AWAY FROM YOUR FACE YES IT IS FINE. I LIKE MY MACHINE. THEN YOU USE CLEAR WATER LIKE A WATER BOTTLE PUT IN A FEW DROPS TO CLEAN IT. THEY RECOMMEND CLEAN WATER.
