My dear Eric, great Video, thank you. This confirmed my way with the loop, I learn it from you and help me soo much. So, with the loop I have the time to bring the left shoulder forward and deeper. I can bring my arms in a better delivery position. Without the loop it is difficult for me to bring the arms down without a body rotation. Best greetings from Vienna, Erich
I am having, and I have always had, a tremendous difficulty in following through to a balanced finish. I have tried everything but my mind just won’t let me do it. Once I hit the ball, I’m so happy that I hit it, that I basically stop my swing halfway through and do not follow through. You have such a nice balanced finish. Can you give us some tips and some practice techniques to solve this problem of mine and allow me to follow through to a balanced finish. I know I’m losing distance because of this. Thanks, Eric.
Thanks, Eric. I’ll practice your method at the net in my backyard. I have such a mental block on this and it is so frustrating. I’ve practice it a lot before and seem to do it okay, but get me on the course and I fail every time. Plus, it’s easier with the shorter clubs, but put a longer club, 6 iron to hybrid and woods, and it seems impossible for me to complete the follow through. I’m going to work on your method. I don’t know what it is about longer clubs. I’m crossing my fingers!
I have faith in ya! We all struggle with that....there are ways around it with HOW you practice. Consider trying www.cogorngolf.com free 7 day trial to send us in your swings and see if we can help!
Love to hear that, Mike! That should be easy to fix....if you don't get it sorted try out www.cogornogolf.com to send us in your swings to we can identify problem and help fix!
This is similar to Hogan’s plane of glass analogy, which is a good swing thought for me. In other words, try to make sure the shoulders stay on the same plane in the backswing and downswing.
I worked on this today and hit draws every time. The only issue I had was that a lot of my shots were off of the toe (maybe I shouldn't complain since I've been formally introduced to the hosel before on several occasions).
The inevitable cycle of ideas coming around the bend. This the Penick move. Glad to see coming off the dumb keep the arms up suff I see now . That's like for maybe 1 in 1,000 golfers. There's a video of Eldrick on the golf channel with Butch talking about this. How he tries to get his arms down with no turn from the top. Feel vs real of course. But worth a look for those interested.
Hey Simmo! Not the focus on this one but we have plenty on that topic! Here are some for ya: th-cam.com/video/HW_2oEY9B0U/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/rmuQUEqkNiM/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/fJQn_FzVnjg/w-d-xo.html

Thanks, Mark!

Perfect like always easy thoughts, i try and get club shaft FEELING down by right knee with shaft going thru middle to lower back when I start down??
LOTS of FEELs that can work....what matters is what it loos like when you look on video
The best lesson I have ever seen on why and how you should swallow. Thank you.
Thanks, Alvin! Our pleasure!
Very helpful lesson shallowing! Thanks Gents! 👍
Thanks, Anthony! our pleasure!
Thanks, Eric. Finally someone speaking logic. “Leave the arms up and turn” is BS.
Yes, stuck city.
:) Both are good----just depends on where the player is currently at and what you pair with it
Can’t wait to try this! Shallowing the swing is not easy for me!
Hope it helps ya Chad! As for a lot of us its a work in progress!
Combining this video with the last RIGHT Shoulder Video, and one has all he needs to understand how the shoulders work!
Happy to hear this Rick! Thanks for watching :)
I’ve been doing this. Works great. Driver hit it good but get some pop ups
Love to hear that, Mike! That should be easy to fix....if you don't get it sorted try out www.cogornogolf.com to send us in your swings to we can identify problem and help fix!
Is this the same with driver
Same idea yes
Driver vs iron differences herE: th-cam.com/video/TJtx-qVSgVU/w-d-xo.html

See how it goes over coming sessions!
@@CogornoGolf Okay. Thanks.
give me a shot off the toe instead of a shank off the hosel any day of the week
@@drewwall4860 Amen brother!
dropping the hands and getting them low is what really connected with me. Great vid!
Love it!

“Pretty thoroughbred “ 😂
:)
And if you ask about weight shift simple logic is in the move right to left for right hand players....duh!!
:)
Good. Liked the little trash talk as well.
:) Thanks, Otis. Good fun
All the attention on dropping arms, where is the weight shift in all of this?

This could not have been more confusing like you two were sitting in a bar. Where is the weight shift in addition to this move.?????????
Lol sorry about that!
