    QUESTION OF THE DAY: Would you use the fan nozzle or the regular nozzle? What would you spray to kill weeks? Roundup, vinegar, something else?

    Good review.
    When I heard you say that the pump was built into every tank I was thinking that was just to make more money. Then after thinking about it I realized that by changing the whole system between each chemical prevents cross contamination.

    I bought mine last week online. Mostly to spray round-up on weeds. I live in South Florida so weeds and lawn maintenance is year round no matter what. Haven’t used it yet I bought this because I’m tired of walking around with the hand-held pump sprayer. Lol while watching this video I thought I accidentally threw away that angled fan tip but found it inside the filter when you unscrew the cap on top where you fill it up! This thing has some weight to it that’s for sure. Water weighs what, 7.5 pounds per gallon? So 4 gallons of water is like 30 pounds plus the weight of the sprayer. Just trying it on it is really comfortable. I agree with you once it is filled up use a table or tailgate it’s much easier and less stress on the straps. I know this because I’ve used plenty of traditional backpack sprayers before. It’s really well built. If you plan on doing a lot of spraying this is a great investment I bought it last week with the three in one backpack $150 off. Great video Mark thanks for the info

      @MarkThomasBuilder  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you, I may complain about snow, but I guess it's a tradeoff for spraying weeds year round, lol. I was surprised to find the fan tip inside the sprayer too. I was going to mention that in my video, but I think I forgot that detail.

    Thanks for review, I was wonder if we could make the hose on the sprayer longer, Are there any control wires from wand to pump? I am planing to buy this and use it to wash Evaporator coils & Condenser coils on Walk-In Coolers/Freezers, The 120PSI is perfect so it doesn't bend the fins. I am already on Milwaukee platform and like their tools.

    • @MarkThomasBuilder
      @MarkThomasBuilder  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There's a pump at the bottom of the switch tank which works on demand, kinda like a RV water supply pump. When the pressure goes down, then it turns on. Therefore, there's no wires on the hose.
      You could make your own extended hose I would think.

    I bought one at TSC $120. Runs 4 hrs on 2 sginch. Battery holds 4 gal. Spray or foam. Screen filter to catch clumps. Has less moving parts can spray 25ft. High. Just love it. Has less moving parts than yours. I can mix chlorox/water spray siding on house eliminating algebra and dirt. Much much better. Arne Michigan

      Interesting, I haven't seen theirs yet, I'll have to look the next time I visit their store. I've read on the Home Depot website where several people reviewed spraying a chlorox mix for siding in this and it did just fine. The Viton seals hold up well to chemicals.

    Excellent video, I don't understand the poor reviews, it seems like you debunked the residual amount of fluid left. Thanks for taking the time to do this video. Based on this video I'm giving this a try. I love the fact you can quickly change tanks withouth cross contamination. And if you are already in the Milwaukee ecosystem, you can save money and just buy the backpack and tank without the battery and charger. I also like that you can change the pressure to avoid overspray.

    Just drove an hour to get to a Home Depot right before close to have this tomorrow morning. Get it home, decided to open it up and check it out. The tank is cracked out of the box. Leaked chemicals all over my building!!! Had it sitting on my Milwaukee pack out too, so I didn’t have to bend over to put it on.

    Here’s a crazy idea. Anyone tried using this system as a transfer pump? I’m not worried about high pressure, just move 3 gallons or so of trans fluid to where i need it to be. Would oil or the higher viscosity damage the pump?

    • @MarkThomasBuilder
      @MarkThomasBuilder  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's a good question. My guess is that it's not rated for thick liquids like that. You should check out the M18 Transfer Pump on the Home Depot website. In the Q&A section, there's some comments where some have successfully used it for thicker fluids, but rinse it after each time.
