Lovely to see you and your progress ❤ I think try two threads just to give it the depth of colour 😊
What can I say about Bear......he is gorgeous and we can tell how much you love him 😂❤
Quickly went over and downloaded The Shadow Key from RNIB to listen to looking forward to that 😀
I was a monogamous stitcher fir many years then I had a break from it and when I came back to it that went right out of the window at present I have 64 WIP s and I love them all 😂😂
Enjoy your visitors and look forward to seeing you at end of August 🎉 xx
Great update video, love your finish ❤. Bear looks beautiful, bless him. Fairy. Thanks for sharing. Take care and happy stitching 😊
Enjoyed seeing your video and your projects. Love Feast. Bear is absolutely gorgeous❤.Have a good month with the family.🌼🌻🐕
Hello dear Elaine! So wonderful to see you again ☺️ Of course I love all of your stitches... the Teresa Kogut finish is just gorgeous! I love being on this journey with you. I'm so happy that you encouraged your friend to start stitching. Let's see how long the monogamous stitching goes 😉 I can't stop stitching. I was feeling a little defeated late last year because I thought I would only stitch smalls. Then Lori came along! 😂 I started "Shoo" last night and am working on it a bit today as well. I laughed at your stitch of Mrs. Otis' head floating in the air! 🎃. Bear is so beautiful. His paws are huge. He's just lovely and I'm happy he has fit into your family. Thank you for your video Elaine and I look forward to seeing you next time. Hugs and happy stitching! 💕 Laurel
As a fairly new subscriber I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoy your videos and hearing your life updates about where you live, your big love-puppy, Bear, and really enjoyed watching the one where you gave us a little tour of your yard and all the out-buildings. I'll bet you have a fairy or two in your garden...the view from your yard, the fact that you live close to the ocean (sea?)...that's my idea of heaven! I think the sheep on your Love pattern by Little House Needleworks will show up just fine on that fabric. The cream in the border shows up really well. I think the idea to use two strands will make the sheep look nice and fluffy as a sheep should be! I love the Kitchen Garden pattern - it is so beautiful! Enjoy your weekend with your grandchildren!
I always enjoy your flosstubes Elaine. I totally agree that 'collecting charts' is a thing - I've got so many I love looking at them too! I also love a fairy 🤣 Oh the sheep, I would double up the threads and maybe do the sheep in French knots to stand out 😉
Couldn't mistake Bear for a fairy! 😂😂. He's so handsome and on his best behaviour. Oh your stitching is lovely too 😊
Bear is beautiful. Nice to see your smile when you talk about him. Maybe the Fairy is taking your thoughts.
Great video thanks! Love your wips. I would love a bear and a fairy.🇨🇦
As ever, a great video. I agree that you should do the sheep with 2 strands in the needle. Will add a bit of sheepy fluffiness and also make sure you can see them.
Hi Elaine love your videos. Bear is adorable and I'm sure he has chased a fairy or two in your lovely garden!
Great video as always, Elaine love your puppy he is such a gorgeous dog ,fairy, I have just started picking up book so love your book reviews too
Bear is adorable! He looks so big and fluffy!!!
Bear is so cute! A Mirabilia fairy is always fun to stitch.
How about stitching All Creatures Great And Small a beautiful sampler. Your hound is handsome. Enjoyed your video thank you and happy stitching.
Now I love that sampler, it’s a biggie though!!!
Happy STITCHING TO YOU AS WELL. ATHANK YOU FOR SHARING YOUR BEAUTIFUL STITCHING. FAIRY.
Thank you 😊
Hi hun. Bear is so cute and adorable. Lovely stitching as always. Love yr channel. Always a pleasure. I love that fairy. Beautiful. Take care. Xx
Thanks so much 😊
Sounds like you are going to have a very busy August. But a very enjoyable one. You managed to get quite a bit of good stitching done after all. 👏💖👏💖👏 FAIRY. Happy Stitching. ❤❤❤
Thank you! 😊
Thanks for the update. Loved seeing beautiful Bear 🐶🐕❤️ He seems so relaxed and happy in his lovely new home. Love your Teresa Kogut finish. I think 2 strands of cream would make your sheep look fab on your fabric. What a pretty fairy pattern 🧚♀️ Happy stitching 🪡🧵✂️
Thank you so much!😊
Lovely video, Elaine. Bear is adorable! I'm so glad he and Hope are best buds. I thought that would work itself out since Hope had always had a partner. For your sheep issue, I think I'd try the 2 over first. If that doesn't work possibly try using floche or sulky; or change the color just slightly. Good for you for bringing your friend into the light! LOL!! Fairy. Bye - Steph from NJ, US
Hi Steph, hope you are keeping well xx I did think of using Sulky but I will try 2 strands first. Take care xx
I do like a coincidence - whilst watching your flosstube I was stitching on one of the Snowflower Diaries Joyful World Series. At the beginning of the year I set myself a small challenge to complete the series. Well, I’m pleased to say I’m stitching -November. The coincidence is that, for some unknown reason, the design features is a Peacock. So I hope you don’t mind if I name her Ellie in honour of you and your flosstube. Thank you
Now that is a coincidence!! Definitely should be named Ellie xx I have that series but I’ve only stitched 2 of them so far. Happy stitching 🪡🪡🧵🧵
Congrats on your finish!🎉 Beautiful stitching on your projects.
Wasn't sure if it should be faery or fairy.
Thank you! 😊
Hi Elaine, I'm so happy you liked your card and scissor stand. You were right they were all stuck down, sorry some had come unstuck.
Another great video, always enjoy watching your stitching progress. I'm currently stitching Home Sweet Home chart and throughly enjoying stitching it
Happy stitching 😊❤
Thank you Liz, it was a wonderful gift to receive xxx I’m so pleased you are enjoying the chart 😊
Enjoyed seeing your stitching progress and beautiful finish! I would love to stitch a fairy.
Thank you! 😊
Lovely to catch up with you today Elaine, I hope you’re managing to get some stitchy time with the grandchildren there. I love the fairy, I have a nice fabric in my stash that would work with!
Lovely to see gorgeous Bear, he’s huge!
Hi Berni, honestly when you have kids around I don’t know how you manage to stitch much!!! You have my admiration xx hope you are ok, I need to catch up with your latest flosstube, as watching any flosstube has also gone out the window!!
Enjoyed your video as usual. Bear is a beautiful boy. We have always had rescue dogs. Been fortunate to have puppies but have also had older. You are so right with the issues with a rescue. We work very hard at rehabbing them and love them unconditionally. Our current boy came out of a drug house and was a handful for a while. He is an Anatolian Shepard which is a guardian dog. He is now into his golden years. Look forward to your next video.
I always have rescued too, so many dogs need a good home. It breaks my heart every time we lose one, like when Prince passed earlier this year, the only thing that helps is knowing we can give a home to another. Love Anatolian shepherds!! Take care xx
Hi Elaine fab video it’s always a joy spending time with you I think the two strands of thread would look great on the sheep, Bear is a very handsome boy ❤ enjoy August happy stitching hope to see you fairy soon.
Thank you 😊
What a gorgeous finish on your Kogut piece! You've done quite a bit of stitching between all the Summer activities. I find it easier to fit in time to stitch in the other 3 seasons. I think stitching the sheep with 2 strands would be nice. Bear is just beautiful and so well behaved. Fairy.❤
Thank so much for your lovely comment 😊 I agree it’s not so easy to stitch in the summer!!
Who wouldn't want to stitch a fairy and look at the gorgeous Bear! Enjoy your stitching. I have enjoyed watching your progress this month.
Bear looks so adorable. Fairy chart is pretty.
Bear is too cute
Great video, as always, Elaine! It’s always such a pleasure to enjoy your stitching and get a glimpse of your lovely life in Anglesey. You are so lucky to have Stitchy friends nearby, and even over the road! I bet you will be enabling her so much she won’t be a monogamous stitcher for long!
Bear is sooooo beautiful ❤ lovely finish on ‘with thy hands’ xx
Thank you 😊
Hi Elaine, hope you had a lovely time with the Grandkids. Your stitching is amazing. FAIRY.
Bear is a handsome boy. Hope we get to see you soon at Cheshire stitchers. Enjoy the time with the grandkids. Happy stitching
It’s just been a whirlwind of visitors, September clashes with my own retreat in Essex but I’m hoping to come in October 😊 look forward to seeing you again xx
Hi Elaine, really enjoyed catching up with you as I stitched this afternoon. Your With Thy Hands is absolutely gorgeous! Hopefully mine will be finished soon too. It has been such a lovely stitch and I’ve loved stitching along with you. I don’t think I’ll be doing Winter Wonderland but I’m hoping my Cottage Garden Samplings peacock chart will be coming sometime this month so what do you think to that one? You’ve made some lovely progress on your WIPs. Bear is just adorable! Happy stitching my friend 😊 x
Hi Sally, yes I have the peacock chart, happy to start it with you 😊 let me know when you are thinking ?
@@elliewelliestitcher what about first Monday in October or something like that? I have got mine as yet but I’ve had an invoice from Coffee Crfat Fabrics and paid for it so it hopefully won’t be long. x
Beautiful finish and it’s been relatively quick too I think. Always enjoy your updates too. Bear is huge 😱, cute with it though and I love a Fairy 🧚.
Enjoy your special time with your family. Bear looks like he’s going to be a big dog when he grows up. But he sure is a special puppy. Fairy. Enjoy your stitching!
love the Fairy chart , and i love Bear he is gorgeous, ,
Thanks Annette xx
I think 2 strands for the sheep would look great.
Me too 😊
No wonder you have done slightly less stitching. Bear is so cute, i love his colouring ❤️. You have to take advantage of the summer weather, s i know you love your garden. Wonder where the peacock came from? They are beautiful. Great finish, both you and Sally have said how enjoyable that chart was. Its great that you have a friend who is now stitching👍😃. Hope she realises that its going to be a money muncher lol. I'm swapping cross stitch for polymer clay in the next few weeks, clearing all my books, patterns and probably most of the fabric. Enjoy your week with your grandchildren Elaine. Take care 🤗
Lovely to catch up with you here today. Seems such a long time ago since our visit now! I think the sheep will look ok when they are stitched but actually stitching them in 2 strands will help them standout a little and look even better. Have you watched Mouse Potato Designs where she does lots of her sheep in french knots.......😆How perfectly bahaved Bear was - he must have worn himself out on the beach! Big Hugs and hope to see you soon xxx
Do the sheep in French knots 😂😂😂😂 I’m just going to leave that right there 😂😂😂😂 hope to see you soon ❤️
@elliewelliestitcher notice I didn't suggest the French knots as an option - just had you seen how Felicia does them? 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I am not a fan of doing them either 🙈🙈🙈
Hi Elaine, lovely to see your updates. Buying charts is definitely a separate hobby, as is kitting up!😂
I think the floss on your little sheep looks fine. I’d stitch it in one thread and then you can always go over it a second time if needed. Bear is such a cutie! Look forward to seeing you and your neighbour in September.
I love seeing your progress on your pieces.
Thank you so much!
Loved meeting Bear!
He is a cutie isn’t he ❤️
Always waned to do a fairy. They are so pretty.
Fab to see you Ellie! Love your With Thy Hands finish. So gutted that I will miss September, but looking forward to March! Happy Stitching, lots of love, Clare xxx
We will miss you Clare!! Look forward to seeing you in March xx
Loved catching up with you and seeing Bear (he's such a handsome boy and was so well behaved). Thanks for sharing and Happy Stitching!
Thanks so much for watching 😊
I enjoy stitching a good fairy. Really love seeing your stitching. Love your finish.
Thank you! 😊
Stitching on Fancey while watching you 😊
Bear is so gorgeous, and so big! He suits his name 😍
I think you should try doubling up on the thread for rhe sheep, see how that looks. I did all those charts, 1 a month, a couple of years ago. Loved doing them.
And your finish is absolutely beautiful 😍
Happy stitching Elaine
Thanks Alli!! My progress on Shoo is not great at the moment!!
Stumbled across your video today and I’m glad that I did. I enjoyed your stitching and Bear is just a beaut. Happy Stitching!
Glad you found me 😊 a very warm welcome to my channel. Thank you so much for watching and happy stitching 🧵🧵🪡🪡
Omgoodness Bear is just the cutest! Great seeing you and all your WIPS❤❤❤
Thanks Kayli xx he is a cutie though he is at that stage of chewing everything at the moment!! Hope you and yours are all good xxx
I love your videos. It's always great to watch you. You're a bit of a stitching fairy. ❤
Thanks for watching!
Regarding the Little Sheep Virtues piece you might try stitching the sheep with one strand of the floss and if it needs a bit more coverage just do another 1/2 stitch that matches the direction of the second leg of your X.
Great idea, I will try that! Thank you ☺️
Thanks Elaine. Lovely to meet your puppy, Bear. Fairy
Thank you! 😊
Great stitching Thanks for sharing Love the Fairy Mirabillia
Thank you! 😊
Congrats on the finish! Such a pretty fairy pattern.
Thank you! 😊
I enjoy your videos. Your pup is adorable! Fairy
Thank you! 😊
Lovely to see you again and your puppy, Bear is so cute and cuddly. That midsummer fairy is stunning. Happy stitching and look forward to seeing your next video. 💜🪡🧵
Thank you! 😊
@@elliewelliestitcher you're welcome
I always love your floss tubes! I’m doing The Pink House Sampler for my birthday start!
Where did you find the font that you did for the verse? I’m not quite fond of the one I found.
I hope you enjoy stitching Pink House as much as I did 😊 I used the font from the chart, I just adapted the words slightly but almost all the letters I needed were already there. Wishing you a very happy birthday and happy stitching xx
@@elliewelliestitcher Weren’t the letters in the chart too big for the space where the saying goes?
I thought the letters in the chart were for the name? Did you get more than one set of letters?
love your puppy and the fairy :)
Thanks Anita 😊
Thank you for sharin
Thanks for watching!
