Every episode up to the name if the doctor (4 or 5 I think) has a unique intro design to match the content of that particular episode. Each one also had a movie style poster released at the same time. I'm sure u can find them if u google them. Also after the name of the doctor DONT watch the time of the doctor till you've watched.. an adventure in space and time, then night if the doctor minisode then the 50th special, day of the doctor.... (also if y get time, the 5ish doctors is brilliant and very funny..

The way Amy kept screaming Rory's name throughout the episode. When they were falling, when Rory was at the hole. Subtle clues by Moffat telling us that she's still really concerned and still loves Rory
But what about when she told Rory about all of that stuff was just "nothing" ? To me, that's not love to him, _that_ is showing who she TRULY is. And when the time she told him, "I love you", she _really_ didn't mean it!
When this aired in the UK, we knew Jenna was a new companion but wasn’t expecting her until much later the next year, when she appeared here I was sure they were killing Amy and bring in new companion early, the end twist was a complete shock for me!
We knew she was coming before Series 8, we knew Amy and Rory were leaving and Clara was coming at Christmas. She was never gonna be until Series 8. They weren't gonna announce the new companion 2 years early, they didn't even have Matt Smith for that long!
HowlingSnail no we knew she was coming “for christmas”, this episode aired in September and the snowmen was December - it was heavily publicised she would be starting at Christmas so to see her in this episode and then The Doctor have a line that said “it’s like Christmas” and then having them on a snow covered planet, it wasn’t too hard to believe they had been messing with us and I really did feel serious jeopardy for Amy when her life was at risk.

6:44 I completely forgot that the Daleks think the Doctor is hot lol wtf. I guess because of his rage and occasional genocidal tendencies... I'm not even sure I picked up on that on first watch.

The prediction is strong with this one.
Not sure if you noticed but right after Amy and Rory argue about why they failed as a relationship, Rory asks why didn't he just tell us [that Amy had a bracelet ting] and then there's a shot of him straightening his bowtie, linking with where Amy says that he can't fix their relationship like he fixes his bowtie.
Failwhale, the only WhoTuber, where you can talk about your opinions about Clara and Jenna before she becomes the companion and you won't have to worry about spoiling it for him.
By the way, I really like Clara, and she's my favourite new who companion. More on that on her actual episodes though...

Yeah, they got rid of the colored Daleks for the most part. People didn't like them, thought they were hard to take seriously looking like that. Sometimes they still appear in the background in scenes where there are a bunch of Daleks, but the normal bronze ones are the ones that appear the most.
Sad I liked the colour ones :/

Seeing as you’re very far ahead, here in the U.K it was announced before series 7 aired that Clara would be the new companion after Amy and Rory. So it was a complete surprise to see her appear and then die in the same episode. It confused everyone 😂

Well, actually... they kinda did. Before the beginning of the series, it had already been announced that the Ponds were leaving, and that Jenna Coleman was to be the new companion. It was a shock when Jenna appeared in "Asylum" and--apparently--killed off. Little did we know then that it was the beginning of the Impossible Girl.

This is the only example I know of any TV show which is designed to be watched by an audience that has been spoiled. Reactors never get the full experience because of their insistence on being completely unspoiled. Here though, you miss out on the main impact of the episode if you haven't been primed to expect Jenna Colman to turn up at Christmas and be the new companion.
Moffat has written a story that exploits the spoilerhounds and the BBC's own overzealous marketing people to pull the rug out from under the audience. In my own opinion, its one of his best surprises.
The production value, especially the set designers, were firing on all cylinders for season 7 as a whole, so you have that to look forward to 😄

Way on point with the midseason switch, they even took a long break after Amy & Rory's last, probably to let us grieve. But cool that Moffat wanted to set up the season arc for the 2nd half.

Keep an eye on Clara...the impossible girl. Oswin is just a bit of foreshadowing. Things get a bit more complex in the Xmas special The Snowmen (partly filmed here in Bristol) and it's all leading up to the 50th special, The Day of the Doctor. Can't wait for you reaction on that!.

Yes for the most part the Crayola Daleks are gone thank goodness. They weren't the least bit frightening to me. This was the first episode in quite a while where the Daleks were actually scary.

Moffat got asked about Jenny and said she crashed into a meteor and died after flying off.
That was RTD wasn’t it? Moffat specifically asked to keep her alive, Moffat could’ve quoted him though. (Also she has her own Audio series and appears in comics so not really canon.)

@@jessicaable5095 Agreed. It gets wonky after the 50th anniversary. And it took a whole season with 12 to find the right balance. Then she urm...did that thing and kinda died again (I guess, I hate Moffat for that). Really loved the old mad man and young caretaker duo, like a Rick & Morty version of The First Doctor and his granddaughter.

Yeah, they almost got rid of the coloured Daleks, just 'cause people generally didn't like them. It's a shame, actually. Their colors were awful, but their voice and overall design... actually much more menacing.
