Your septic system used here is very different from the typical system here in Canada and US. Although we use a tank, the effluent goes out to a "tile bed" of perforated pipes set on sand. Here, a septic field must be a minimum 100 feet (30 meters) from any lake or river. I assume that this property is near Stockholm and on the ocean archipelago. Thanks, and keep making more videos.
Its a mini sewage treatment plant, the gray box supplys air and/or chemicals to the big black tank, thats why it needs the yellow hose for a power cable. The effluent should be as clean as lake water and therefore not need a tile bed. Some mini plants drain in to a ditch that go strait to the sea. My parents had to change the old 1984 septic system to a mini plant and they dont even live near a lake!
@@m.cooper1854 you now can build your house on properties that cant fit the older tank and tile bed system or places the old system is not allowed anymore like near lakes. A negativ thing is the mini plant is expensive, require electricity, and some counties ask for yearly test of the exit water and the owner has to pay for the testing. Something 150USD.

Yellow for electricity to the gray box, blue for air and or cleaning chemicals. The big brown pipe? Its the sewage.

Great video! Is the yellow conduit for electrical? In Canada we need to bury electrical a minimum of 24 inches! 36 inches under driveways or roads.
Its for electrical, i guess its up to the owner to decid/accept, and remember to not put something heavy on top of it.
