- A reflection on Mamamoo's humble beginnings and their steady yet rapid ascension up the K-Pop girl group ranks to become one of the trendiest and most popular groups in the industry today
I always planned on making this for my personal enjoyment, but the response to most of my videos has been positive enough for me to put this together and upload so thanks moomoos :)

I would say that coming from a small yet passionate company has made and helped them to become a whole rounded artist. I prefer these steady but sure rising in term of popularity--for them to properly learn, appreciate and enjoy their journey... Their growth is so apparent and deserving, cant help but proud for them. I sincerely wish that any harm or hardship the industry could do would not rub out these lively, lovely and dorky out of them
I partially agree but they were in so much debt before because they weren't well known so they couldn't eat as much weren't staying at a nice place and were doing a lot of festivals which is exhausting at one point they were doing 8 festivals a day
I agree. Although as part of the k-pop culture and by right the company's producers are also music industry veterans so there is always a tendency for the company to decide alot of things, but it is clear that their company truly believes and invests in them, and give them artistic freedom as well. It makes alot of difference.
Do you know any groups that aren't from the three major companies and that are underrated so that I could help and support them since I wasn't a MooMoo from the beginning?

I like them cause they always have a smile on their face, they look like they have a lot of fun performing and that's what we hardly see with kpop girls these days. Please I hope they don't change and still have a lot of fun performing live.
I think it makes any fan happy to see their favs successful and at the top of their game but, there’s just a different type of satisfaction I get as a MooMoo knowing how difficult MMM had it pre and post debut. I’m not saying other groups didn’t have hardships, that they didn’t have to struggle. I’m saying that a lot of the large groups promoting right now debuted with better conditions, with privileges that small groups and companies don’t have. Mamamoo may not be the biggest gg out there rn, they might not have the biggest fan base or sell the most albums but, I feel like the impact they’ve had on the industry, on beauty standard, and expectations for girl groups in general surpasses many of the groups promoting rn.
As a fan, of course I want more recognition and fame for them, I want them break records and I want them to win the grand prizes at award shows but, when I think about the long term, I just want MMM to leave a lasting and impactful legacy. Chart numbers can be over taken, trophies literally are given out on a weekly basis, and fame will always subside eventually. What I want for MMM and the girls individually is for them to really leave a mark, I want them to be referenced by 5th and 6th gen groups, I want them to be revered and respected as legends like TVXQ, Lee Hyori, and Rain one day.
They debuted on 2014?! And I only discovered them this late?? OMG. Seriously though they're so much better than most GGs out there with their vocals and performances. I really don't agree that they lack in looks, their uniquely beautiful!
I'm fairly new to this fandom (INTERNATIONAL MOOMOO'S RAISE YOUR HANDS 😂😂) so can anybody tell me the whole backstory and why we're (moomoo's) and they're (mamamoo) are called "radishes" or "radish family" and why our light is shaped like a radish 😂😂
Moo means radish in korean, but Mamamoo (the name) means a newborn trying his her first words like mama mama mamoo!! basically they put theirs names like so because they wanted to grow like a newborn to an acomplised and successful adult :)

The thing about Mamamoo is that when i got into kpop, girl groups did not appeal to me so much, until I stumbled upon Mamamoo's 1cm MV and then their live performances. one of the things i look for in a group is personality/individuality....Mamamoo is down to earth, dorky, they aren't afraid to break gg stereotypical characteristics. Not to mention, they know how to put on a fantastic performance.
I'm a new fan of Mamamoo. I admit, I did not care much about them because I was a solid YG stan. But then I came across Solar on wgm and I loved her personality that's why I said "Okay, I'll give this group a try". I watched their funny clips, mmmtv, IS2 perf., etc. and then BOOM. I was hooked. I realized that I was starting to love everything about them. I also realized that I stan YG artists not because they are from YG. I stan them because of the unique quality that they have which I also found in Mamamoo. Mamamoo is a high quality group and NO ONE can deny that fact. It's a sin to call them idols because they are ARTISTS. I AM A PROUD MOOMOO! #bow

I love Mamamoo! I remember the first time I saw them and I was blown away by their stage presence for a 'rookie' group. I did not believe that they were rookies at all. And then I thought they were all much older like probably 88-90 liners, but no!! They're only 91-95 liners!!! They're amazing. So much talent and confidence, they didn't have that rookie vibe to them at all 😊
It was like watching a documentary .It was clearly visible from the Mamamoo debut until now.

Where is tissues? I cried! I'm not with mamamoo from the start, and start to know them last year from accidentally download "PIANOMAN" (This is real. I was just try to find a new song and found it y accidentally and download it) and then I found someone said that they bring the feeling of jazz so I listen to some more of their songs and I found a group that only full with talent and not just look. I admire them a lot!!! I hope they will get more recognisation in the future. they deserve it!

This video is so meaningful.. It shows how Mamamoo start from the bottom to where they are right now. And you can also see in the vid that even though they are starting to get recognized. I can't believe its been two years since I became a moomoo, it doesnt feel like it took them that long to become stars! They amazed me when i first saw them and each time i watch them even if ts something i've watched a dozen times i cant help but fall in love all over again.
i love how each one of them show their own talents and uniqueness, this group does not outstands each member yet they equally show what each of them possess. I think that performance change everything by getting more recognition from the public and other Kpop fans. I commented on that day "Hope they get big"...and look where they are now. tbh Piano Man is probably my favourite mamamoo song ahahahhaaa, it just showcases all their abilities so well and the song builds up so well to a climax. I guess it just wasn't part of the k-pop mainstream and it was early on in their debut year so it didn't hit the charts as well.

I've been a fan recently. When I first saw their MV Uhm Ah Oh Yeah. omg. This is the 2nd kpop group I Love. First is the 2ne1 ofc. but this girl group really caught me off guard. hahaha. Everyday I watched videos about them. Moonbyul and Wheein!!! Love this group.

just like many others, i became a full pledged moomoo when they released UOAY (i'm WHEEping right now btw, thank you for this video) but this just shows that they have a growing ability of stealing hearts as they progressed. they promised they would work on being a pentagon, and it touches me that we can obviously see that they did. and how much of a success it was.... so much more to say but cliche words won't do justice for how much i feel for this team. even though i wasn't here from the start, i'm ready to be here till the end. 마마무, you amaze me ❤

Our numbers started small, but our passion for Mamamoo could match any other fandom's even back then. Now we have the numbers to boot too. Mamamoo and moomoos have grown so much in a very short time. Now Mamamoo can sell out a 1,500 person venue in a couple minutes :)

in my honest opinion i think at this time they are the one of if not the only 3rd gen groups that in terms of sheer vocal talent are on par with second gen . yes many third gen are very talented but i think mamamoo stands toe to toe on with what i personally believe to be the golden era of kpop . those are just my thoughts (as a multi fan mind you)
