Tank beats Ghost. Tank beats Hunter. Tank beats EVERYTHING! This mission in a nutshell along with an absolutely amazing soundtrack to go along with it. Hands down my favorite tank mission in halo.
@@thegreatmightymanaco5161 Actually it can beat a Scarab, just shoot them in the back, exactly where their 'heath' is, I made it twice in Halo 3 after the carthographer
That be nice, they could make it to where the player MUST lock down the vehicle to use the main guns that way the Gauss Hog and Scorpion don't become obsolete.
This mission should of been on reach's campaign, this mission pressures you deal with wraiths and so many are covies appearing everywhere, I think this mission gives a more scary tone than Reach in my opinion.
Well look at the last mission you get showered with hundreds of enemies until you go down this mission is you vs the normal enemies that chief has no problem sweeping
The background dialogue to this level really did a good job of putting that desperation in the atmosphere. "They've been pushing us back block by block." "Once you enter you have to commit. Keep moving." "They must know this is our rally point!" This mission and ONI alpha site were perfect in giving that sense of you being part of something much greater than you. You're not Chief pushing forward your a normal guy doing your best and having to retreat constant no matter how good of a fight you put up. Having ONI ending with asset denial was very appropriate cake to that. NMPD then did a great job of making you feel like you have your back to the wall.
@vzerby In the back of your mind, you know that if you were playing as the Chief, the outcome would be the same. You cut a bloody swathe through the Covvies singlehanded, it's everyone else who sucks.
Fantastic. Been looking for the non-electric guitar version of Traffic Jam everywhere. I'm trying to make a version with Robert Plant's vocals from Led Zeppelin's "Kashmir" superimposed upon this theme, you see... brb learning music theory edit: i did it: th-cam.com/video/4wJlZMGLZLQ/w-d-xo.html
It's actually a riff dating back to the blues era of the 50's. No harm done, and they actually went to the trouble of modifying it a bit unlike a lot of others.

The marine that says that in halo 3 is the same actor I believe
If Halo’s Scorpion Tank has its own theme, 6:25 Traffic Jam, would be it.
*Roger that. Prepping the scorpion. ETA 5 minutes...*
Y'know what I would like to see? Halo Wars 3 with the Master Chief as a Leader character. And this theme plays in a mission.
I would have said halo 2's theme that played for the scorpion on the bridge but this works too
I like how this theme has the same drum beat from Roll Call. A sweet reference to how these evens happened before Halo 3
Agreed. Traffic Jam has this lumbering, rumbling, rock solid beat that fits the 66 ton war machine that is the Scorpion.
Now i know where the Avengers got their main theme song from
Which part is it

About 6:50 sounds like an inspiration off of Kashmir by Led Zeppelin.

We need Grizzly Tanks in Halo 6. Along with Wolverines and Hornets.
Don't forget the Cobra! Imagine two Gauss Cannons from the 'Hog on a Scorpion instead of the Main Tank Cannon.

What we need is a lot of people to be fired and Microsoft to fuck off.
Y'know seeing as how the Banished are gonna in Infinite , All those vehicles might be able to appear in-game now
i basically wantt a halo with every vehicle from both halo wars games + variants
