Gotta be honest. As much as I love this game, they missed a huge chance to add Super Sentai versions/characters. After all, Power Rangers was based on Super Sentai, wasn't it?
Possible licensing issues - And you could add them but then the percentage of people who’d know the Sentai characters would be even smaller than the people who know the current Power Ranger roster. Might as well use costumes people know in PR than “random” sentai ones. I think Gokaiger or Kyoryuger might be the only ones a decent number of people would know.
it's American live action footage of the school scenes and stuff cut with the actual Sentai fighting/zord footage from Zyuranger. ConnorTheWaffle has a really good recap/docuseries on the Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers, episode by episode. The premise is a series review but they also incorporate a ton of behind-the-scenes on the production and era of the show.@@gabrielmpereira9628
Not broken but rather gives too much weight to a single character in terms of damage potential. Damage scaling dropoff needs to be a LOT more aggressive. ToD combos should be possible but a lot less frequently than we get here. There's no concern for combo damage vs. resource efficiency because so many characters can drop an opponent from 100% to 0% consistently with one good combo conversion and without relying secondary resources (meaning it really just comes down to how much super meter the character has to spend and not if they can call an assist or Zord to stretch out the damage). This game has better neutral gameplay than DBFZ, IMO, but the combos need to be toned down severely (DBFZ is the reverse - uninteresting neutral but more reasonable combo gameplay).
