Basic troubleshooting of an AC series pallet jack

Jack not lifting? Here are some basic steps to troubleshoot that resolve the problem most of the time: bleeding, checking oil, finding out where the problem lies.

Mine is stuck in "up" position after being left outside in that position for a long time... probably seized on the cylinder. Penetrating oil and tapping with a sledgehammer?😄

What kind of oil would need to be put into it?

For manual pallet jacks you can use any standard amber hydraulic fluid weight 22 thru 46. If the jack is being used in very cold temperatures use lighter fluid closer to 22
