I am sorry but the new build homes are plagued with issues. Take it from a local with a handful of friends that have bought new builds in the past few years and they have leaks and electrical issues!

How many months does it take for the construction to complete and how much involvement is required from the buyers side?

Great question! Varies on builder but average would be 6-8 months. Larger and semi-custom homes would be 10-13 months. As long as you hire an experienced new construction expert buyer's agent, you will be in great hands!
