I appreciate this post so much! I am currently dealing with my Camry 01 Code P0440 and it's been a pain in the ass. Just nice to see a post that relates out there (:
@@PaintThePicture0710 I have not, I was able to find a sweet spot so it passed smog. I’ve been avoiding the problem since it doesn’t affect the car. I think it’s the charcoal box. What have you tried?
Got the same codes; replaced everything form the engine bay to the charcoal canister using OEM part. Ended up being the pressure valve on top of the fuel tank was cracked, had to drop the tank to get to it.
Damn man. You probably spent $1000 to get rid of an evap code that didn't change the driving dynamics. On a car that probably has a market value of $1500. Good for you!
Great video and very informative. What state are you in that it will pass emission inspection without having to go thru a drive cycle when resiting a EVAC cel code?
I changed the vsv valve that is on the passenger side, changed the EGR valve, several codes left but I still have p0446, which says evaporitive emission system vent control circuit, what do you think it is? I hope you help me, thanks

I would check evap hoses and get a smoke test for leaks. I know this code is quite a headache.
Thanks
