Carmelo Anthony has been my favorite basketball player since he played at Syracuse. I was sad when left Denver cause that's my hometown team. I named my son after Carmelo and I always tell him strive for greatness and don't be afraid to strike just like melo did on the basketball court. Thank you melo for everything.

I remember some years back when melo played for okc. He came to a local seafood spot I used to work at when I was in high school. He was the nicest dude. Took pictures with me and my friend and told us “y’all be cool”. Melo will always be one of my favorite players of all time! 🙏🏼

I love that each of the presenters focused on 1 aspect of who Melo is: the player, the philanthropist, and the man himself. All people are multifaceted, but not everyone can be great or even good at all those levels at the same time. It looks like Melo tried, and mostly succeeded at that.
