    So sad they are not keeping a high standard. I wonder if they have problems with staffing because they don't pay well. I still would like to experience staying there someday. Thanks for the informative video.

      Hi, and welcome to the channel! Yeah, TWA has gone downhill fast :( and it's expensive. The Goliday Inn Express is right near the AirTran entrance a few blocks away and cheaper. I reviewed that hotel in case you're interested. Thanks for watching and commenting. I appreciate it :)

    We'll be staying here in a few months and are really hoping they've spruced things up a bit! The only reason we are staying is because we'll be arriving late and flying out early, otherwise I don't think we'd be paying the outrageous prices to stay here.

      Hi and welcome. TWA hotels are worth visiting once for sure just for the nostalgic aspect. But I agree with you and hope they do a bit of tidying up there! Hope you have a good trip and visit the hotel! Thanks for watching and commenting. I appreciate it :)

    I live in Queens, so i really wouldnt need to stay there. However, if I had to catch an early flight I would stay. My uncle, may he RIP, was a baggage handler for TWA for many years.

      Hi there and welcome to the channel! It's quite expensive to stay here now :( But your right that it's super convenient to stay here to catch a flight. Wow he worked for TWA, so cool, the the old glory days of air travel!

    After landing Delta, grabbing luggage .... Can you just simply walk from terminal 4 to the TWA hotel ?

    • @MilesMiser
      @MilesMiser  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes. You can head towards the skytrain then follow signs down the elevator and walk past the garage right to TWA hotel. Or walk to jetblue area and there's where you can walk through the old tunnel inside that connects to TWA.

    I stayed there in 2019 I feel there is room for improvement.

      I agree and in fact since I've stayed here back in March 2020 it's gone downhill even more since then :(

    This place is such garbage these days… it was so nice when it first opened, but it has fallen on hard times to say the least… no where near worth what they’re charging these days.

      Hi and welcome to the channel! Yeah your spot on. When I went here when they first opened it was fresh, new, everything sparkling. Now it’s dirty and run down :( It’s convenient for staying for early morn flights but it’s too costly. Thanks for commenting and watching I appreciate it!

    • @MilesMiser
      @MilesMiser  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      yep it could have been so much better ;( It's in need of serious cleaning and price reductions to reflect it's current state. Thanks for commenting.

      Which one(s) in the area are better?

    • @MilesMiser
      @MilesMiser  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well to be truthfull all the hotels within a short distance of jfk are kind of pricey and some are even worse shape than twa. Unless you fly out of EWR and stay around that hotel area. If you have an early flight out of JFK and can stay downtown Manhattan that would be better but it will take you 30 40 minutes maybe more one way via trains and cabs are costly. Sorry
