近江八幡の散策 : Walking Around Omihachiman（Shiga, Japan）

- 滋賀県、近江八幡市を散策いたしました。八幡堀だけでなく、西洋建築や観光地から少し外れた住宅街もとても趣があり楽しめました。
"Ōmihachiman" means "Hachiman in Ōmi". When Hachiman Town (the forerunner of this city) became a city, there was the existing city of Yahata in Fukuoka Prefecture. In Japanese, "Hachiman" and "Yahata" are written with the same kanji, so "Ōmi" was added to avoid confusion. "Hachiman" is the Shinto god of war. His symbol is the dove. - ภาพยนตร์และแอนิเมชัน

I was there last year, unplanned.i took the off-the-beaten path and I was amazed by the beauty of omihachiman. It was the highlight of my Japan trip!

おお！5Kは想像以上に4Kとは違いますね。特に、遠景の電柱の1本1本が確認できますし、水面に写った風景が非常にリアルです。今回も、撮影のために歩いた行動力に脱帽ですｗ。体力ありますよねえ！、びっくりです。

どこかのコメントで滋賀は区画整備が進んで歴史的建造物が無いと書いてありましたが、全然あるじゃないですか❗近江商人の街ですね。滋賀出身の経営者が多い事で有名ですよね👍確かTOYOTAの創業者、西武の堤一族とか。京都に行く前に寄り道してみたい街です。

色々な時代の建築物を見ていく流れはまるで近江八幡を散策すると同時に歴史をも散策しているかのようでとても良かったです^^
あと、八幡堀の映像を最初に見てなにか違和感みたいのを感じたのは、今の時代にありがちな危険防止の柵なんかがまったく無い事でした。そういった景観に慣れてしまっている自分にとってはある意味とても新鮮でなにか忘れていた景色を思い起こさせてくれる場所でした。

私も、八幡堀を撮影しながらいつもとは違う感覚を覚えておりました。普段ならあれこれカメラの位置を迷いながら撮影していたのですがこの日は直感的にカメラをまわすことができました。山親爺様にご指摘いただき気付いたのですが、恐らく危険防止の柵などの映り込みを気にすることなく撮影できたからだと思います！！
これからも、楽しんでいただける映像を作れるよう精進してまいります！！

近江八幡にはもう行かれてたんですね。
動画を見て思いましたが、相当歩いて、撮って、バッサリ思い切って編集しましたね。
私が見ていない所がいっぱい映っていました。
お堀端近くの街並みは本当になんとも言えない味があり、水面に映る木々や蔵、商家はいつまでも見ていたい気持ちになりました。
貴方は行く所、撮す所のツボを本当に良く心得ていらっしゃいます。
だからこの尺で動画をまとめる事が出来るのだと感心して拝見しました。
ところで動画にはありませんでしたがロープウェーや舟には乗らなかったのですか？
私はロープウェーに乗り、お堀端と水郷を舟で巡りました。
水郷巡りは手漕ぎと動力の舟がありますが、私は動力の舟で巡り、お客は私1人で貸切状態でした。
手漕ぎの方が人気があり、たくさんの舟が出ていました。
又、見させていただきます。

細かい所までごしちゅお頂きとても嬉しいです。毎回撮影では１カ所につき２TBほどデータを使用しておりますので、たくさんの素材をカットしているかもしれないです（笑）ロープウェーには乗りたかったのですが恐らく力尽きて帰宅したような記憶がございます😊
次回は、船にも乗ってみたいです！！

京都から滋賀は近いので、日帰りだったのですね。
私は数年前に京都に10泊して滋賀のあちこちを観光したことがあります。
その時に近江八幡、長浜、彦根等に遊びに行きました。
朝から晩まで滋賀に行って、京都は荷物置いて寝るだけみたいなw
(滋賀に泊まるより京都に泊まる方が安かったから)
地元の人は近すぎて泊まるのはもったいないって感じなんでしょうね。
私の感想としては滋賀は中々周り甲斐があって、見所が多いです。
意外と言っては地元の方に失礼かも知れませんが、予想以上に楽しかったです。
味のある街並みという点では長浜はオススメです。

少し前に滋賀県に住んでいて近江八幡にも何度も行ったので懐かしかったです。西川家などの近江商人の屋敷町、八幡堀、日牟禮八幡宮、ラコリーナ…。できれば八幡山に登って上からの景色を見たかった、かな。あと舟に乗っての水郷巡り。いや、でも十分に楽しめました。ありがとうございます。

Omihachiman city is built on the Omihachiman castle (1585). Interestingly, Yasuke (or African samurai ) served a powerful warlord from 1581 to 1582 at the Azuchi Castle, which was adjacent to Omihachiman. Also, the two largest Ninja towns i.e. Koka and Iga were also near Omihachiman. Shiga Prefecture, where Omihachiman is, has far more Buddhist temples per capita than other prefectures in Japan. The Anohs, Kora Munehiro, and Todoh Takatora have contributed to building Buddhist temples and castles in ancient and medieval times; and they are from Shiga. In particular, the Anohs and Todoh are famous for the ability to make solid stone foundations for a building, e.g., Buddhist temple, Shinto shrine, and castle.

こちらも国の重要伝統的建造物群保存地区（通称、伝建地区）です（南丹市の美山かやぶきの里と同じ）。冒頭のウダツのある町家のまちなみは、新町地区。ウダツは町家がまだ江戸時代の建築規制（瓦葺規制）の影響で板葺だったころ、風で飛ばされないように建物の両端を高くあげたもの（徳島の脇町の袖ウダツは防火目的で間違いありませんが、ここや京都のウダツは風対策で間違いありません）。8代将軍吉宗の時代に瓦葺規制が解除されると、板葺に瓦が重ねられました。京都の町家は幕末の元治大火によりウダツがある町家は西ノ京の瀬川邸やすっぽん料理大市さましか残らず（あとは鞍馬の門前集落に残るぐらい）、全国の町家も太平洋戦争中の米軍による無差別爆撃でウダツがあるような町家は失われ街道筋に残るぐらいなので、ウダツを残す新町の町家群は非常に貴重です。
この度も貴重な知識をご教示いただき誠にありがとうございます。ウダツといえば「ウダツがあがる」の語源は？といったクイズ番組の問題でしか馴染みが無かったので、地方によって目的が異なるなんて思ってもみませんでした！！また瓦葺規制というのもとても驚きました。近江八幡を改めて散策する際は参考にさせていただきます！！

美しい映像から、何故か、振り返りつつ逃亡する、という物語を感じてしまいました。足音とそのスピード感からでしょうか。
