I loved the video. There is just something very warm and reassuring to the soul when we actively pursue gardening, isn't there?. Growing things, even if we're not experts at it. The learning, the trying, the pursuit. The bugs and even that green lizard enjoying their jungle home. Just great for the soul. I can't wait to make it to Panama. Once I get a few acres, I will be making gardening an integral part of my life. Now that I'm retired, I have integrated so many new things into my life that I knew I would enjoy, but as it often happens, a busy work life prevented me from fully pursuing before. So now, the piano music lessons, learning to cook, spending time at the gym most days. And yes, even future gardening, with better climate than these cold hills of New Jersey. A garden doesn't work as well up here. But, I do enjoy feeding the critters that come buy my house most days, e.g. the squirrels, the birds, the raccoons, the deer. Even the black bears, but I don't feed those! 😃
