      @devadasvasudevan4983  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, it safe. Have a snack from the one and only daba there, park your bike there and ask the daba owner to have an eye on it. its a safe place, though.

      Biplob Phukan , thanks for watching this video. There are couple of accommodations available in Malana village. If you are driving you need to leave the car and trek to the village. there is no motorable way to the village.

    • @devadasvasudevan4983
      @devadasvasudevan4983  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Mohit Sharma , there is a small restaurant run by a local, where you can park. Have some refreshments or meal from there and they will be happy to guard your bike. Thank you for watching.

    HI Devadas. great adventure..that too in good quality video.Really nice dude.
    I need some advice from you in case plan for a bullet ride to Kullu-kasol-Tosh or even malana.
    Can we just walk in and hire a bullet from Kullu?
    is it possible to get for 2 days?
    if so what will be the rate?
    is there any deposit we need to give?
    did you ride till malana or you kept the bike and treak for a distance ?
    hope we can get petrol in between?
    is it better to arrange a stay once we are there or do we need to pre book from hotel booking sites?
    these are some of my queries i tried to find out from various blogs and couldn't find.
    I am really enthusiastic to hear from you.

      Thank you Giash for watching the video.
      Apologies for the delay in my response.
      1) It is better if you could rent a bike from Manali where the service package would be more. I never tried hiring a bike from Kullu. Hiring a bullet is no big deal. However, it would be an advantage if you know someone. Otherwise you have to give your original document like passport (if you are foreigner) or Adhar card or sort of document (for an Indian citizen).
      Rental shall depend on the model whether 350 or 500 cc and could range between Rs 1000 and 1500 per day. Further, most rental agents will ask for a security deposit which might be between 10K and 15K plus advance rental for the whole duration.
      2) Short rental is possible in Manali at the above rate.
      3) I rode from Manali to Kaso and then to Malana. I rode all the way upto the WAY TO MALANA gate of Malana. The road is very challenging and dangerously rough. You have to park the bike at a small restaurant across which the WAY TO MALANA is located. You need to descend to the valley and start trekking to the other side. There is no way to reach Malana other than walking on the narrow scary path.
      4) I had filled in the tank (500 cc) from Kasol and rode upto Malana and then rode to Mandi.
      5) A couple of accommodations would be in Malana. It is always better stay in the village for a night minimum so that you can walk around peacefully. Be careful enough to politely ask the village folks before you touch any temple or any object of worship. They are very sensitive.
      6)If you are riding and want stay over night then you might want to park the bike for which you need to have some contact who can ensure safe keeping of the bike on the other side of the valley. Or else you need to hire a car to go Malana and book him for a return ride next day.
      Enjoy your ride dude.
